About this property

Beautiful Mountain Villa with private swimming pool and large stone barbeque!

We are delighted to offer this exciting new undiscovered area of southern Lazio, that borders the region of Abruzzo, and the wild beauty of the mountainous national park nearby. We are even more delighted to introduce our clients to this area via this wonderful brand new two-floor 3-bed villa, La Vigna della Corte. Backed by majestic mountains, and overlooked by the hilltop village of Pescosolido, with its welcoming white church, the property is surrounded by hillside vineyards and olive groves.

Private grounds sporting a wonderful pool, plus an impressive BBQ area, sited amongst manicured lawns and flowerbeds. Indeed, privacy and peace, set amongst spectacular mountain scenery, are the plus points of this property. Air conditioning is available and there are insect screens on all doors and windows.

Electric gates and short drive to private parking. The furnished swimming pool measures 15m long x 7m wide x 1.5m deep.

We also cater for wedding and christening's at the house which is available on request.

Wow what a week in the Mountains

We had an absolutely fabulous week at Pepe's and Marions place in the hills. So much to do and the location and property stunning. Lots of help, advice from them both to get the most out of the trip and places to visit. then to come back each day for a swim in the pool and cook on the bar b q and pizza oven area, we needed nothing more. So quiet at night and views all around. Highly recommend staying hear and close to Montecassino, water park in Cassino and the various mountain villages. Thanks Marion/Pepe you were amazing and look forward to seeing you in England. The Kiwis

Relaxing and welcoming stay

I was staying here for work that I was conducting in the neighboring Abruzzo National Park. This is an 'undiscovered' region of Italy with beautiful towns and the national park and few tourists. Pepe and Marian (sp?) were wonderful hosts. Welcomed us to the villa in person and provided excellent support with their helpers when they were away. I got locked out, broke a pot, and they were patient and kind about everything. Pool is lovely and views from the villa of the mountains and the mountain-top town of Pescosolido were beautiful. Terraces for relaxing and good WiFi. I would like to stay here again when we return. If you go don't miss the neighboring towns of Islo del Liri and Cassino and Alatiri and the National Park--beautiful hikes, wildlife (red deer, wolves, brown bears), waterfalls, and history.

Fantastic vacation experience

The house fully met all expectations. The garden is really beautiful and it is located in a wonderful area. The pool was really top and the house is very well maintained. The owners are very sweet friendly people who really go out of their way to make your stay completely to your liking without violating your privacy. If you want, they will even take you to the local winery for a tasting and buy delicious local wine. Pescosolido is not yet very well known by tourists. The big advantage is that you can store cheaply and eat deliciously in the restaurants at very competitive prices. By car you can be in Rome and Naples in an hour and a half, and you are an hour away from the sea. In the region itself there are also very beautiful sights and nice lakes to enjoy a fantastic vacation. We change our destination every year, but for this house, location and owners we like to make an exception and we will certainly see them back!

Perfekt für Erholung

Wir durften mit der ganzen Familie eine Woche dieses wunderschöne Haus mit Garten geniessen. Der Pool bot willkommene Abkühlung, die Gegend ist sehr ruhig, der nächste Ort mit Einkaufsmöglichkeit und wöchentlichem Markt nur wenige Autominuten entfernt. Herzlichen Dank an die sehr freundlichen Besitzer.

Perfekter Urlaub

Ein ganz tolles Objekt unf ideal für Familien mit Hund. Der Garten ist groß, der Pool ein Traum, das Haus einladend. Der mächst größere Ort ist ca. 10 km entfernt mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Danke an die fürsorglichen, aber nicht aufdringlichen Vermieter!!!

Beautiful house in rural setting

This property is stunning. It is clean and spacious and sits in a huge, beautifully tended garden. The pool is an excellent size and was a much needed relief from the hot Italian summer. The outdoor cooking area was excellent with a fantastic barbecue and an authentic wood fired pizza oven. We created amazing pizza on a couple of evenings during our stay. The local village, Pescosolido, has a butchers, a cafe and a couple of shops for fresh bread and fruit and vegetables. The nearby town, Sora, was lively by night and had several nice restaurants. There was a reasonable size supermarket for provisions and the market on a Thursday morning was worth looking around too. The greeting from Pepe and his wife was lovely and they offered help if needed but were not intrusive. We had a wonderful holiday and the whole family enjoyed it.
