North Fork River Escape

2024 Steelhead Season starts in October Idaho Fish & Game will set exact dates! Welcome to our 4 bedroom 2 bathroom (5 Beds) family retreat with views of the Clearwater river, 1 minute from public boat launch. If you fish you can walk to the best spot on the river to catch epic steelhead: SEPT-APR, or Chinook Salmon Fish APR-JUN depending on fish returns. Spring time brings Kokanee salmon to the surface in April, and rod busting small mouth bass for the taking, this is a little known gem of our location. Ask and I will tell you, honesty is the best policy!

Don't want to fish, take a hike on our extensive Army Corp trail system. How about a short 5 minute drive to the Dworshak Reservoir ski, boat and enjoy our Idaho wilderness!!!!

Beautiful place on the river, easy access in and out, close to town, and the resivore the house is extremely clean, everything anyone needs, like being at home, i would never stay anywere else in orafino then there, every time i have been there, its been great. The hosts are great people also, never a problem.

Spacious cabin near river

Loved this rental. Had so much space. Spotless and well supplied. Beds so comfy! Great location near the river, Dworshak Reservoir and Orafino. We enjoyed fishing and hiking. Loved Elk Falls!

We have stayed at this place for the past several years. It’s been a perfect place for us. We have had 8 guys stay and there is plenty of room. Always really clean and owners have been amazing to work with.

House was perfect!!

We actually stayed here twice in less than a month because the house was so perfect for our needs. It was clean (and we are picky!) and check in was super easy. It is very quiet and close to the river. The deck was great for a BBQ.The host was amazing and very responsive. We really enjoyed our stay and plan on staying again many times.

Great home for family close to beautiful scenery, rivers, lakes, fishing and parks. Everything needed to live comfortably, prepare your own meals and maintain distance from others yet enjoy a vacation during this difficult time.

Fantastic VRBO!

Highly recommend! The owners are very nice people, down to earth, and provide a welcoming vrbo. The location and room will be tough to beat. The house has a local decor with room for a large group but consists of a layout that makes it enjoyable to be together. Nice big kitchen and common areas are great for meals and camaraderie. We’ll be back!

Why they chose this property

The Clearwater River is a World Class destination for Stealhead fishing, we were fortunate enough to find our cabin on one of the best stretches of fishable water, by boat or short hikes to the controlled down stream flow of the Dworshak Dam. Not to mention the wildlife around the cabin and monster small mouth bass in the Dworshak Reservoir! Don't sell yourself short coming to our State we have too much to list, depending on your travel plans and ability. I got a few tricks and maps that will surely take your breath away!

What makes this property unique

Boat launch infront of our house, yes it can be busy so you are in control of what time you get up, and get out there. Don't forget to get back to the house for dinner!
