Just stayed for the weekend. What a fantastic stay we had despite the rain. Such a lovely cosy cabin. Very clean and had everything we needed
The cabin looks out on to beautiful mountains. The cabin was cosy and comfortable. Lovely short stay with our 2 dogs. Wish we had booked longer. The site has a nice bistro that you can get a drink and some food. Lovely location. Take a torch if walking about at night.
This cabin in a great location with wonderful views had everything that we needed for a peaceful time in north Wales. Highly recommended for people looking for an opportunity to explore mountains, rivers, beaches etc.

This cabin was the perfect getaway for the weekend to relax and hike Snowdon. The host was very helpful and the cabin had all the basics we needed. Views impeccable as well. Definitely going back!
It's a really quiet location, beautiful views and lots of bushes in the garden, which attract birds. Well equipped small place, everything you need is there. Good location to explore Snowdonia and north Wales. Plenty of national trust places nearby as well as natural beauty spots. We'll definitely come back.
It was a comfortable little space that warmed up quickly to become a cosy base for us over a long weekend of walking in Eryri. Our dog also settled in very quickly there, which doesn't always happen on trips like this, so that was a nice bonus.
Beautiful place to stay and very quiet and peaceful. The host is amazing and there was plenty of equipment etc in the kitchen.
Would recommend and would stay there again thanks

About the host
Hosted by Liz Downs
I moved to North Wales in 2006 to enjoy rural living and the beautiful surroundings Snowdonia has to offer. I live 35 minutes away from the cabin so if there are any problems during your stay I will usually be on hand to sort it out immediately.
Why they chose this property
This is one of two cabins we own on this site. We have lovingly renovated this cabin, replacing the roof and the outside wooden cladding to ensure it is well insulated and nice and cosy. We have tamed the wild garden and chopped down trees that had grown over 30 foot high and were dangerously close to the log cabin, to ensure an uninterrupted view of the stunning Rhinog mountains. The cabin is home from home and hopefully has everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
What makes this property unique
From the log cabin you can cycle directly to Coed y Brenin Forest just 2 miles away where there are a large number of all weather mountain bike tracks offering trails for mountain bikers of all abilities, and plenty of walking trails.
