Charming & quiet 2nd floor carriage house 15 minutes from Atlanta.
Nestled in a private green space this carriage house, 2nd floor studio is located on a quiet cul-de-sac conveniently located near Emory and CDC. One block walk to 9 great restaurants. Fully equipped kitchen, queen size bed + twin futon bed.
One week minimum stay.
The Space
Our carriage house studio has a fully stocked kitchen with stove, microwave, toaster oven and coffee maker. We have a full sized fridge and freezer to keep your food fresh.
The carriage house has a comfy queen size bed with medium firm, but not too firm mattress. There is a futon couch that can sleep 1 more. There is a TV with Apple TV for Netflix, Hulu and Prime movies - you will need your own login information for these. We do not have cable TV.
The bathroom is stocked with fluffy towels to wrap around you when you are done.
There is also a lower deck with chairs, table and umbrella so that you can enjoy the lush backyard.
Guest Access
We have off street parking on our quiet street with minimal traffic. Use the gate to the right of the driveway to enter the backyard. The carriage house is in the back and your room is on the top floor. There is a private door code that we will provide upon booking your stay with us.
House Rules:
Rule #1: Make yourself at home and enjoy all that the carriage house and our neighborhood have to offer.
Rule #2: No pets. We have 3 friendly dogs who may enthusiastically bark a hello when you arrive but we do this for the comfort of future guests who may have pet allergies.
Rule #3: Please no smoking or illegal drugs. We have no issues with enjoying a few cocktails two :)
Rule #4: Please notify us ahead of time of visitors. Let us know their name, when and how long they will be stopping by for. We do this for safety and insurance reasons. Thank you.
Rule #5: Ask us if there is anything else we can do to make your stay extra special. We want to make sure that all of your guests are happy and well taken care of.
Interaction with Guests
We are available to give you advice on restaurants, activities and best routes to places in the city but otherwise we will leave you to enjoy your time in Atlanta.
The Neighborhood
LaVista Park is an all inclusive, friendly neighborhood. We have 9 restaurants within a 1 block walk from the carriage house.

We are a $5 -$6 Uber ride from Lindburgh Station train. The train goes to several neighborhoods in the city as well as the airport. There is a bus stop at the end of our road as another option. We also have off street parking if you rent a car.
Legal disclosure: one of the property owners holds an active Georgia real estate license.

I am from South Africa and my wife has lived in internationally for years. We speak English, French, Japanese and Hindi. We have been renting to travelers and professionals for years now. We love meeting new people and sharing with them all our city has to offer.
Why they chose this property
We bought the property for a variety of reasons. First was the private, tranquil garden. Second the location. We are 15 minutes from midtown, Buckhead and Emory University. We are a 5 minute ride to the train station and in walking distance to several great restaurants as well as Whole Foods & Publix. You can't beat it's peacefulness while feeling connected to the city.
What makes this property unique
It is a quiet and peaceful haven within short distance to a bustling city. It's the best of both worlds.
