The home was perfect. Beautiful location. Easy to walk everywhere; beach, restaurants, marina. We would definitely recommend this home and hopefully my Cali family and I will be back next year.
This house was perfect for my large family gathering.. The house was super clean, great location and I can’t say enough about the spectacular views. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space to be together.
We had a wonderful Family vacation. The house was clean and had every amenity that you could want....the kitchen was fully equipped, many beach towels, beach chairs, etc.
This home fulfilled all our wishes.
Gerry was great host. We loved the home with all the bedrooms/beds and bathrooms. That main pic with the chairs on the balcony is probably where we spent 75% of our time while at the house. The house provided everything we needed. Would stay here again in a heart beat!!
My friends and I had a fantastic week in Falmouth. The property was fabulous and in a superb location. We enjoyed morning coffee and evening cocktails on the deck overlooking the ocean. A short walk to the beach and ferry to the Vineyard, 7.5 bathrooms , more equipment and supplies than one could think of and lovely furnishings all contributed to making it a wonderful place for a gathering of friends.. Thank you!!!

Thank you for being such great guests. Come back soon!
Wonderful location with a beautiful view. We had 10 people stay together in the house, plenty of room for everyone. We loved all of the bedrooms and bathrooms that allowed everyone there own space. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cookware. All we had to bring was food! Loved the history of the house and how easy it was to get to sites of interest along Cape Cod. We would definitely recommend and love to stay again!
We had a great stay at Gerry and Renee’s Falmouth home. The property is right on the water and the second floor deck provided great views and sunsets. The house was very clean and had all the necessary amenities. Gerry was a great host and checked in with me on our first night to make sure all our needs were met. They were more than met. We will definitely be back for future stays. I highly recommend this home for a great stay.
This house is perfect for larger groups of families or friends (or both in our case). We came up from South Carolina for the Cape Cod Marathon and half marathon and the house was a great place to stay. We were able to cook for the group and it’s right on the course so we could cheer each other on. Plenty of bathrooms, beds were comfortable. Beautiful views. Everything was clean and comfortable. It was a wonderful home away from home and I’d definitely recommend.
Our family traveled to Cape Cod from Iowa for the first time and loved every minute in this terrific home! From sipping coffee on the gorgeous deck overlooking the ocean, to walking the few steps to the beach, to enjoying everything that Falmouth has to offer, you will have a wonderful experience with a large group in this home. Even our 3 yo was entertained with all of the toys! The home has everything you need for a large party including beach chairs, kitchen needs, and plenty of space (i.e. bathrooms!) We would happily stay again - I highly recommend this home!
This property was everything I could ever have imagined. The breathtaking views from the upper deck was amazing. It was the most relaxing vacation I’ve been on in a while. The house was extremely comfortable and had everything you can possibly need. The butler kitchen is a perfect addition so drinks can be made while supper is being prepared in kitchen. You will never regret your stay here it is top notch and so close to beach and great restaurants. Loved every minute. The hosts are top notch. Book it!!!!
AMAZING!! Book Now!!
Cannot say enough great things about this property! Host thought of EVERYTHING so all you have to do is show up !!! From baskets of sunscreens to beach bags/beach chairs/beach towels they have you covered!! The kitchen is stocked with every utensil and appliance you’ll need. The sweetest kid area with games galore, art easel, coloring area, toys etc.
We are getting ready to book our trip for next year. Hoping to make this sweet property an annual event!

Unbeatable View!
The deck of this beautifully sited house offers a glorious view of the water and the Vineyard. It's also a great place to dry towels and swimsuits - breezes always available. In addition, we saw the Milky Way and plenty of moon views. Each of the six rooms has its own bathroom, with an extra one or two for visitors. Comfy sofas abound, along with toys and games for children of all ages. With only a short walk to the beach, we made optimal use of the opportunities for swimming. We keep coming back for more of this house's special offerings.

breath taking view
The home is old, probably built in the late 1800's. It has had several updates including the new deck on the upper story and what a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the fantastic scenery and the sea breezes with your favorite beverage or coffee in your hand. Martha's Vineyard can be seen from the deck with the ferries making the crossing . Ample beds, bathrooms and parking. We made day trips for Whale watching, Red Socks baseball game, Wahlburgers, and the Cheer's set.
The home does not have central air but plenty of fans. We were there the 1st of June and the sea breezes kept it comfortable. July and August may be a different story.
We enjoyed our trip very much. Dutch Bell, Conroe, Tx.

Thanks so much for your review Dutch. We are so glad you had such a great stay. Fortunately, because of where the house is situated 50 feet above the ocean line, we have a wonderful sea breeze which makes air conditioning unnecessary all season long. Since we have owned the house (just two years), the fans together with the sea breeze have been sufficient to deal with the summer heat! Given the age and character of the house we are reluctant to put air conditioning in, but we always appreciate suggestions for improvements from our guests. Hope to be able to host you again sometime soon.

Great house, great location
The house is situated in a really good location - walking distance from the beach and a couple of OK (not great) restaurants, and a little longer walk to the ferry to Martha's Vineyard and bike rentals. When not foggy, there's a lovely view over the Sound.
There were 11 of us, and there were ample bedrooms and bathrooms, and room to spread out in the sitting-rooms so we weren't always on top of each other. The kitchen was really well equipped, and washing-up liquid, paper towels, detergent, etc., provided - plenty of cups, plates, flatware, etc. for everyone.
We did have a couple of issues, but the owner was responsive. The house was clean, but the trash barrels were in the hallway when we entered first, (maybe due to the hurricane the week before?) and had to be moved so we could get in. Unfortunately some flies stayed behind!!
I would recommend this house to a large party.

We are so glad that you and your group had such a great stay at our beach house. We are sorry to hear about "fly" issue and apologize if it was a problem. We were not aware of it. The trash cans were put in the back hallway by our cleaning crew due to the hurricane that was in the area a couple of days before you arrived. They didn't want them to blow away! We regret that this might have had an unintended consequence. We will keep this in mind of future reference.
I had hoped this would be a great family trip to take, all of us in one big house, right by the beach. What I didn't expect is the house (and hosts, Gerry and Reene) both being absolutely perfect and going above and beyond every single expectation I had.
One morning, the keurig machine stopped working for some reason (mind you, there were still 2 if not 3 other coffee machines available for use), but we mentioned it in passing, and within a few hours a brand new keurig was dropped off at the house - that is the kind of service you can expect staying here.
The house is large, very well kept, full of every single item you can think of (beach towels, more umbrellas than I've ever seen, pots and pans, games and puzzles, air conditioners in each room, a full washer and dryer with detergent/pods and dryer sheets - it would take a week to list out everything! The view from the large second level porch is amazing, day or night.
I cannot imagine a better host(s) on VRBO or any of the competitor sites, nor a better vacation home to stay in. If you are at all on the fence about staying here, you will *not* regret staying here in any way, shape or form.
I can't say enough about this property. Beautiful is an understatement and does not to the property justice.
The view from the deck was breath taking. Sitting out there and looking and listening to the ocean while losing track of time is what the soul needs.
We rented this house to celebrate our wedding and it's beauty provided a beautiful backdrop to many photos.
The home was warm and welcoming and provides everything you need to enjoy your stay.
The owners were amazing to communicate with and even sent us a congratulatory email on our wedding.
Amazing property and even more amazing owners. Will happily be coming back again!
Our family has been going on vacation to Falmouth Heights for years and this is the best house we’ve stayed at to date. We had 5 adult couples and each couple had there own full bath with 2 and a half additional baths. The second floor deck has a spectacular view of Martha’s Vinyard. Short walk to Falmouth Heights beach and Shipwrecked restaurant. Only a short drive to many other restaurants, downtown Falmouth and Woods Hole. Highly recommend if you’ve got 10-12 people in your group.
This was the PERFECT house for a big family vacation! There was plenty of room, everyone had their own bathroom and the view was amazing! You couldn’t ask for a better location! We had a wonderful time and everyone is still speaking to one another since we weren’t all on top of each other😂 This house ensured future family reunions and vacations!
The house was large with a lot of character. A bathroom for every bedroom, six plus two more. Very clean, with every amenity one could think of. Right on the ocean so views were wonderful! The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. Seems like the house may have been an inn at some point. Ideal for family/friend reunions. I would like to do this again next Summer!
This house was perfect for our extended family. We especially liked having so many bathrooms since we were in town for a family wedding. Best equipped kitchen I have seen in a rental; plenty of towels and blankets. And the ocean view is absolutely breathtaking!
The hosts were very responsive to an unforeseen issue that came up. We appreciate their attention to detail.

About the host
Hosted by Gerry Joseph & Reene Romano
We are long term Western Mass residents who love the ocean and especially Cape Cod. When we left New England, we promised ourselves when the opportunity presented itself we would purchase a home here. We love this place and hope that you will enjoy your stay.
Why they chose this property
We love old homes. This property has a long and rich history. Falmouth Heights was the first resort area developed in the late 1870's. Our property was built in 1880 and has been a boarding house and inn. It has had many structural updates, but its interior features has been preserved. The rooms are lined with bead board and the floors were installed with an antique heart pine. Also,we wanted to purchase a home big enough to entertain large families. This is the perfect place. With its many bedrooms (6) and bathrooms (7.5) many of them as ensuite, we felt that families can take in the spectacular ocean views from the 2nd floor deck and living room an enclosed sunroom. Family members can also enjoy spending time together cooking in the large kitchen and eating together in the separate dining room. The house is large enough to provide family members with both privacy and socializing.
What makes this property unique
The highlights of this home include: *Spectacular views *Access to beach *Proximity to restaurants, marinas, Island Queen Ferry, and downtown *Peace and tranquility
