A stunning 13th century Grade 11* manor house over three levels, located in lovely countryside a mile from the village of Bridestowe on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park. It is a very special and unique destination for families and big groups of friends to gather. It sleeps 12 in 6 en suite bedrooms plus library, a sitting room, TV room, music room complete with instruments, dining room, breakfast room with wood burning stove off the well equipped main kitchen with Induction Hob, smaller second kitchen and a games room. You can arrange for caterers to cook for you if you wish. There are 13 acres with gardens, woods, ponds and paddocks with wonderful views over the moors. Play croquet, eat alfresco in the lit barbecue area with chimenea.There is beautiful moorland to explore beyond the manor, with opportunities to walk and cycle, and with a pub in Bridestowe village and lively towns at Tavistock and Okehampton there are plenty of eateries and shops to browse. National Trust Lydford Gorge is a stunning place to visit. Great Bidlake is a fantastic place to spend time with friends and family. Please note - Two well-behaved dogs welcome.
