The Cottage with its own indoor swimming pool, is a gorgeous thatched, cottage, 1¼ miles from Sampford Courtenay. The Cottage can sleep six people in three ground floor bedrooms, each with their own en suite facilities. Inside the lofty, beamed, open-plan living space with kitchen and dining area, has a wood burning stove and French windows. Outside is a huge decked terrace with table and chairs, and panoramic views to Dartmoor over the owners' 205 wooded acres. Centrally located for exploring Devon, The Cottage is a peaceful base in lovely countryside.

Amenities: Central heating with wood burning stove. Microwave, fridge, fridge-freezer, tumble dryer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with DVD, WiFi, Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available on request. Off road parking for four cars. Enclosed terrace garden with indoor pool. Gas BBQ. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Note: Pets are not allowed in the bedrooms. Note: This property is approached over ½ mile rough hardcore farm track. Note: Indoor heated swimming pool is available from 9am to 7pm and at other times by arrangement. Note: Paddocks and a covered yard are available for horses, by arrangement. Very nice ideal for two young pups the drive down from the road was very narrow got a few scratches with brambles but all in all it was great the owner and family were very interesting to chat too nothing too much trouble

Family break in beautifully presented cottage in stunning surroundings

The cottage was comfortable and beautifully laid out, with everything you could ask for in terms of comfort for a family break. The owners were around if we needed them and so lovely, but mostly kept themselves to themselves so as not to intrude on our privacy. Some very friendly cats too! A truly relaxing and peaceful break - even with three kids in tow! Lots to see and do in the area. Would definitely return, thank you so much!
