Wonderfully clean little cottage, that is clearly loved and well looked after by the owner who lives next door. Very warm welcome and a few little treats on arrival. Plenty of hot water and a pretty, well kept private garden. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return if we are in the area again .

Thank you for choosing to stay at The Bothy .
You were delightful guests to host .
I hope that you had a good return journey home .
We had three nights in this modern, excellently equipped accommodation, as a base to explore the area on bikes. Our host, living next door, was helpful and welcoming making sure no comforts were overlooked. The area has much of interest, and the staff at The Bull’s Head, Clipston deserve special mention for their excellent, diverse menu and kind rescue of our bikes in torrential rain; a very positive end to what might otherwise have been a challenging experience!
A lovely place to escape and get some peace and quiet
This property is in a really peaceful location for anyone looking to relax and unwind as we were. You do need a car to visit the attractions nearby, of which there are some lovely areas. Foxton Locks, Market Harborough, there are some lovely walks too. The property has everything you need to have home from home, we also enjoyed watching the squirrels in the garden. Take care on the long drive entrance to the property on arrival, it appears quickly round a bend and has a ditch on either side.
The cottage has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. It is in a peaceful location with a lovely garden that has several seating areas. Josette was very welcoming and has furnished the property beautifully. We very much hope to stay again.
It’s a lovely quiet place to stay. Just what we were looking for.
The only thing that it down was the beds. One was very soft and the other very hard. Shame really. After a busy day it’s nice to get into a comfortable bed.
Excellent property with everything you need to make an extremely comfortable stay. Very good quality fixtures and fittings in a recently converted building, online photos do not do it justice. Will definitely stay again when next in the area. Thank you Josette for your hospitality.

Thank you Josette for a wonderful stay. The cottage is very well equipped and clean and was great for our two little ones to have a lovely garden area to play in. A beautiful and peaceful spot. Was the perfect place to base ourselves in whilst visiting family nearby. Thank you! Would definitely recommend.

Superb stay at the Bothy
We stayed at the Bothy due to a family funeral for five nights. The Bothy was the perfect place to come back to and unwind each day and to spend some quality time as a family. A beautiful property, cosy, full of light, well furnished and equipped, we loved it. It’s lovely and quiet too. Well placed for eating out locally and the local takeaway was good too. Josette was most helpful and gave us a warm welcome. Because of the nature of our visit we didn’t do any sightseeing except a walk at Foxton Locks. Having grown up in the area the Bothy is well placed with plenty to do nearby.
Overall the Bothy made our visit so much more pleasant - thank you so much.

Lovely property
We chose this property as it looked really good and we were attending a weekend event at Kelmarsh Hall. The owner has prepared the property tastefully and to a high standard. It was as good as it looked and we would happily stay again if we return to the area and would recommend it to anyone.
