Hosts really courteous and informative and really helped with recommendations of where to visit in the area Highly recommended and hopefully will return

Many thanks for this nice review and we are so glad these guests enjoyed their stay. We are very well located to visit both the Border areas ( many castles and stately homes and lovely hills) and the west including Snowdonia and the Lleyn Peninsular. Not forgetting all the landscape and activities available on our own doorstep of course. We do hope these guests and their lovely dog Nadia return one day. It was a pleasure to have them stay. Although they stayed for 10 days this was obviously not long enough!

Very many thanks for this nice review. We are so glad these guests enjoyed their stay and would welcome them back anytime! We do have a bit of a micro-climate here in the Vale of Clwyd and often, like over recent days, miss much of the rain forecast to follow the heatwave (rain seems to hit Snowdonia and the coast more than us ). I would just add that 3 days is not enough to see all there is to see in the area - a week would be much better ( and better value too)!

It was a real pleasure for us to have you stay and we were impressed by your zest for hiking in the surrounding area and your determination to experience as much as you could in the time available.. It was very pleasant chatting with you on all sorts of subjects and gratifying that the cottage was immaculate when you departed. What more could a host want! Next time try out some Ebikes in the hills, forests and small valleys hereabouts!

A wonderful week in North Wales

I thoroughly recommend this lovely cottage. It is one of the few times we have stayed somewhere that really looked like it does in the pictures, if not better. Thank you so much for this lovely review and so glad you enjoyed the cottage. We do try to keep that traditional feel which we hope makes a pleasant change from the ultra modern interiors which seem to be in vogue in some quarters! However we still make sure that the facilities provide everything that a modern traveller needs.
