About this property

Nice country house with terrace, sea and mountains views

The house is located in the gulf valley, surrounded by mountains behind it and facing the sea overlooking the roque de salmor. In 2000, iron was declared by UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve.
The house was remodeled in 2009 where formerly my grandfather Pablo's block was, hence his name, transforming it into a cozy country house with a lot of charm.
It consists of a spacious room with double bed, bathroom, full kitchen, terrace, solarium with sun loungers and table overlooking the sea, orchard with fruit trees and a barbecue with camping table.
The house has a fridge, microwave, toaster, washing machine, heater, 2 tv, heating, fan, coffee makers, ceramic hob, complete utensils.

Lovelyl cottage with lovely outdoor spaces

Traditional style Canarian cottage with a large attractive bedroom. The parking space is very narrow so a small car is helpful. The location is very good, Tigaday is a good base with a choice of supermarkets and restaurants

Gosh, what a perfect little house! Impossible-to-believe panoramic views of Frontera. High up (steep walking) but close to town. Responsive host, very clean, everything included. There are little pests here and there (lizards, millipedes) but it’s a part of living amidst the island’s biodiversity

Lovely little house in El Hierro

we spent a wonderful week on El Hierro. The house is perfect for 2 people and has everything you need for a week's holiday. It has character but has been redecorated to a very good & clean standard. Even though we visited in March we made good use of the outdoor sitting areas (front, side and little roof terrace) and the views. It's quiet whilst being near the town centre of Tigaday, with easy access to local shops.

The house is nice. Exactly as on the photos shown. We have been there in december, so the only negative thing is, that. as the house is looking to north, the sun looks over the hill behind the house not before 09:30 and disapears latest at 05:30 pm. Often there has been clouds arround the top of the mountain. Not the sunniest place.

Boendet var mycket rent o fräscht och passade väldigt bra för 2 personer. Vi tyckte att allt som behövdes i köket fanns där. Vi uppskattade också närheten till byns centrum med affärer o serveringar.

Ein idealer Ort zur Entspannung

Wir haben uns auf El Hierro sehr wohl gefühlt. Tigaday ist ein idealer Ort für erholsamen Urlaub.Dieses ruhig gelegene Landhaus am Ende einer Sackgasse hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Häuschen ist sehr liebevoll und gut eingerichtet, uns hat nichts gefehlt. Die Lage in Tigaday selbst ist sehr gut, alles Notwendige ist schnell zu Fuß erreichbar.Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr freundlich und unkopliziert. Wir sprechen kein Spanisch, aber dank Übersetzungprogrammen war auch das kein Problem. Antwortmails vom Vermieter kamen in kürzester Frist.Das Alles war sicherlich auch ein Grund weshalb es uns auf der Insel trotz wechselhatem und etwas kühlem Wetter gut gefallen hat.Wir möchten wieder kommen.

Buena ubicación

Las fotos son bastante fieles. La casa tiene una habitación grande, con techo alto, una cama de matrimonio, una supletoria plegada y un armario. También tiene aire acondicionado. La cocina, con una mesa y varias sillas hace las veces de salón o sala de estar. Y por último, el baño, con lavadora incluida. Todo estaba muy limpio y no faltaba ningún utensilio de cocina. En la parte exterior hay una terraza, encima de la cocina, con una mesa, dos sillas de madera, un par de tumbonas y una sombrilla. Nosotros desayunábamos ahí todos los días, mirando a la montaña y al mar. En el lateral hay un pequeño jardín con vides, una mesa y unos bancos de madera. En la entrada hay un pequeño porche con mesa y sillas. El sitio para dejar el coche exige maniobrar un poco pero nada demasiado difícil. La casa está a 5 minutos andando de Tigaday, donde hay varios bares, tiendas y supermercados.

Well-equipped house in the center of the island

Het huisje met slaapkamer, volledig ingerichte keuken/eetkamer en badkamer had alles wat je voor een langer verblijf nodig hebt of zou kunnen benodigen (verbandkastje). Toegang met sleutel in de deur - spreekt voor de veiligheid van de omgeving. Het huis ligt aan het einde van een steile straat met meerdere aftakkingen waarmee Google het moeilijk heeft, want er wordt een verkeerde plek aangeduid. Wij kwamen 's nachts aan en vonden het alleen dankzij de hulp van inheemse bewoners. Je moet huisnummer 32 bij Google aangeven om het juist op de kaart te zien!

3 Wochen El Hierro

Tigaday ist auf El Hierro ein guter Ausgangspunkt. zentral gelegen, Läden, Supermärkte in Laufnähe. Das Haus war in Google Maps nicht drin, man gibt die nächstmögliche Nr. Ein und dann gibt es am Ende der Sackgasse eine offene Hofeinfahrt mit 3 Häusern. Da das mittlere. Hausnr ist dran. Packplatz ist ok, man parkt aber einfacher draußen auf der Straße. Das Haus ist für 2 Personen ideal. In der Küche ist alles enthalten was man zum Kochen so braucht, auch genug Geschirr etc. Die Kommunikation mit der Besitzerin ist schnell und sehr gut. Wir hatten auch 2 kalte Tage, die Klimaanlage funktioniert gut als Heizung. Die Fenster im Haus sind klein und es gibt zusätzlich Glasbausteine. Das Haus ist sehr schön renoviert. Es ist liebevoll und praktisch eingerichtet. Toller Blick von der Dachterrasse. Auch auf der überdachten unteren Terrasse kann man gut frühstücken, lesen oder am Laptop was tun. Zum Schluss noch das wichtigste: Wir würden das Haus wieder buchen und wir werden auch wieder nach El Hierro kommen.

Ruhiger, zentraler Ausgangspunkt

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Häuschen im kanarischen Stil. Wir haben an der Einrichtung nichts vermisst. Ortszentrum mit Supermärkten, Bars etc. sind in Fußweite erreichbar. Die Einfahrt ist schmal, aber nicht steil und gut machbar. Der Außenbereich ist gemütlich mit mehreren Sitzmöglichkeiten. Das Häuschen war für uns ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge, viele Teile der Insel sind schnell zu erreichen.

Schönes Ferienhaus

Ein zweckmäßig eingerichtetes Häuschen gab unserem Urlaub auf der schönen Insel eine besondere Note. Viele Möglichkeiten daußen zu sitzen machten den Aufenthalt perfekt. Um zum Haus zu kommen benötigt man ein kleines Auto und etwas Fahrgeschick. Daran hatman sch aber schnell gewöhnt.
