About this property

Holiday house in Rambouillet, close to forest with all facilities

The house has a living/dining room with an office area, a sofa bed, a mezzanine with a double bed, a fully equipped kitchen and a shower room. The house is very clear with 11 windows, and nice light devices.


An independant house in a nice garden: The inside house has been fully re-done in 2011 with high quality natural materials (oak, sandstone...).

The large garden has 1300 square meters, is around 100 meter long and is shared with the owner : the entrance in the property is common, although the 2 houses are independants.

You can enjoy eating outside on the garden table and chairs, and in the night you will appreciate the 10 spots that enluminate the garden. If you come from August to October, you might enjoy eating apples and making juice as there are 20 apple trees in the properties...
The premise is a no smoking area, and the pets are not allowed.

A warm service: you will be welcomed by the owners that live next to the house. Children are most welcomed. Mélanie and Sylvain will gives you tips and adresses for touring around, taking the train, the bus, or driving to Paris, airport etc...

Petit coin de paradis

La maisonnette est idéaliement située (N10, boulangerie, centre commercial, centre ville accessible à 5min en voiture). L'environnement verdoyant est très agréable. L'aménagement est particulierement optimisé et rien ne manque. Nos hôtes ont tout mis en oeuvre pour que notre séjour soit parfait, il l'était !

L’aménagement du gîte est original et sympa. Le jardin libre agréable. Les propriétaires disponibles et à l’écoute. Par contre erreur d’adresse sur le site Abritel qui nous a occasionné des problèmes à l’arrivée. Ustensiles de cuisson à revoir.

Peaceful Property in the Garden

A nice peaceful property in a quiet street with a lovely garden with lots of apple and pear trees, with a cat and chickens. The property was fine for 2 people with enough space and was clean and comfortable. It had been nicely converted although the headroom in the mezzanine bedroom was a little limited. Although the weather was very hot it was always pleasantly cool in the property, even in the bedroom. The parking was on the street outside but there was always plenty of space to park. Convenient for visits to Versailles and Chartres and presumably Paris on the train. Sylvain the host was very helpful and quick to respond to emails and phone calls and he spoke very good English.

A lovely holiday

My wife and I spent a week here and had a wonderful time. Sylvain and his family are delightful hosts and the holiday home is just great with everything we needed for our stay. Leclerc supermarket is only round the corner, as is an amazing NatureO wholefood shop which provided for vegetarian/vegan needs. The family's chickens and cat became our friends and we were sad to leave. Thank you :)

Fun and peaceful stay !

Very nice house with a large and restful garden. vVry close to the forest with nice colors at that time and animals.a little farm at the end of the street.... Close to all facilities too. Easy going to Paris by train.. the house is cosy and very comfortable. The host is very kind and friendly. He plays chess and has a very good old rum. We will surely come back.
