Villa Luni is approved by Greek Tourism Organization and has a license number: 1065744 & managed by "etouri vacation rental management".

Located in a great location only 3 km away from the long sandy beach of Episkopi and really close to Episkopi village, where guests can find all kinds of shops, Villa Luni is set in a private land covering 5.500 m2, providing total privacy, as well as wonderful unobstructed views of the surrounding area (the sea, mountains and village). This stone built Villa covers 200 m2 and can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests in its 4 bedrooms.

Indoor Layout

Ground Floor

Entering the villa on the ground floor, there is a spacious open plan area consisting of the living room with a large sofa, a 55" satellite HDTV including free Astra channels and a sound system. The living room area, as well as the kitchen next to it, both lead directly to the pool terrace and garden areas. The fully equipped kitchen features top quality fixtures and appliances and an indoor dining table is also available. The ground floor hosts two bedrooms, one master with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, while the second bedroom also has a double bed and provides direct outdoor access. A family bathroom with a bathtub can also be found on this floor. Additionally, a few steps up, in the mezzanine, guests can find a lovely attic where an office space with a sofa, desk and printer are located.

First Floor

Climbing some stairs from the attic, you will reach the first floors apartment, which can be accessed both from indoors and outdoors, through a stair on the parking area. This studio can be totally independent and autonomous, as it consists of an additional sitting area with a sofa, a 40" HDTV and a second kitchen with a dining area. Furthermore, two more bedrooms, one with two single beds and the other one with a double bed are also available on this level. Finally, both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with a shower cabin. This apartment also offers access to the first floor veranda, equipped with patio furniture and also boasting magnificent views. From the first floor veranda, you can also reach the Villas roof top, which offers the best view of the area and has sun beds, where you can sunbathe and enjoy the sun and peacefulness.

Outdoor area

The beautifully landscaped outdoor area of the villa covers 5.500 m2, 2.000 of which offer a variety of facilities and spots for relaxation. More specifically the outdoor facilities include:

- 50 sq. m. ecological swimming pool, 1,60 m deep. The pool can be heated upon request with an additional daily charge (Please note that the pool heating can be used upon advance request for the entire stay and it requires at least one week advance notice.)

- Charcoal barbecue

- 2 outdoor dining tables

- A variety of furnished spots (with sun beds, umbrellas, tables and chairs) for relaxing in the terrace and the garden around the villa.

- A vegetable garden, where our guests can help themselves to the fresh fruit and vegetables available each season.

- Flower garden next to the pool.

- Lawn covered area next to the pool.

- Parking space for several cars.

The whole outdoor area is totally private and fenced, offering full privacy to our guests. Also, there is a stone path leading away from the Villa, in a field filled with olive and pine trees, where a siting area is also available and theres plenty of space to walk and play. Finally, the Villa is eco friendly as it has solar panels for energy sufficiency.

Fabulous Villa

Villa Luni was perfect - views were great over ocean and mountains, pool was warm (we didnt heat it) and a great size. Villa was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Super Villa, tolle Aussicht, toller Garten, super Service (Reinigung, Pool-Pflege, Gärtner)

Wir waren zum 2. Mal dort. Kleine technische Probleme (z.B. fehlende Kaffeemaschine, Ausfall Internet) wurde innerhalb weniger Stunden (2-3) gelöst. Der teilweise Ausfall der Poolheizung war gut zu verschmerzen, zumal dadurch auch keine Berechnung erfolgte. Die Lage ist etwas abgelegen, bis in den kleinen Ort ca. 15 min zu Fuß (zur empfehlenswerten Kaktuis-Taverne) Mietwagen ist für alle größeren Ausflüge erforderlich, ca. 10 min bis ans Meer (die lokale Strandbar öffnet zu Ostern, sonst etwas weiterer Weg), die Menschen überall freundlich. Weg von Flughafen Heraklion ca. 1 Std. 20 min. Mal sehen, ob wir es nochmal dahin schaffen. Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt könnten je nach Geschmack die etwas harten Betten sein, eines quietschte auch erheblich schon beim umdrehen.

idéalement placée sur les hauteurs mais a seulement 10 mn de la première plage, la maison offre une splendide vue panoramique sur la mer, les montagnes avoisinantes, le village d'Episkopi et sur des champs d'oliviers. Les couchers de soleil sont magnifiques ! La piscine et les extérieurs sont correctement entretenus. Les chambres toutes avec leur salle de bain sont confortables et joliment décorées. La maison est très bien équipée et comporte un potager où l'on peut se servir. Kostas est réactif et disponible pour toute demande particulière offrant un véritable service de conciergerie.

Sehr schöne Villa mit gutem Ausblick

Wir - eine Gruppe aus 6 Erwachsenen haben 7 Tage in der Villa Luni genächtigt und sind rundum zufrieden. Die Aussicht auf den kleinen Ort Episkopi und das Meer ist sehr schön und der Sonnenuntergang von dort ein Traum. Hervorzuheben ist auch die "Roof-Top" Terasse, hier hat man einen 360 Grad Blick über die Landschaft. Zusätzlich kann man abends wunderbar Sterne beobachten. Die Villa ist sehr geräumig und mit den 200 m² kann man sich auch mal aus dem weg gehen, wenn man sich mal zurückziehen möchte. In der Villa ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Die Küchengeräte sind auch sehr modern (Induktionsherd, moderner Backofen). Zusätzlich funktionieren die Klimaanlagen perfekt, so leise und gleichzeitig gut kühlende Klimaanlagen hatten wir noch nicht. Im allgemeinen heizt sich das Haus nicht sehr stark auf, sodass man wunderbar selbst bei heißen Außentemperaturen ohne Klima in der Nacht schlafen kann. Weiter hervorzuheben ist der riesen Pool mit 50m². Dieser wird auch ständig vom Gärtner, der jeden Tag erschienen ist gereinigt. Was auch sehr zu empfehlen ist die Agentur "etouri", die uns bei allen Fragen zeitnah geholfen hat. Etouri hat für uns zwei Boote und ein Besuch bei einer Olivenfarm mit Verkostung gebucht. Die Vermittlung und Reservierung ohne extra Kosten. Alles in allem war es eine sehr schöne Woche in der Villa Luni. Die Villa hat wirklich alles was man benötigt und noch mehr. Wir können die Villa und etouri nur empfehlen und würden die Villa wieder buchen.

Villa Luni

Die Villa ist super, die Aussicht unbezahlbar, egal ob am Tage, bei Sonnenuntergang, nachts. Sehr gepflegtes Anwesen, das Reinigungsteam war 3x in 14 Tagen da mit Handtuchtausch etc. (jeweils etwa von 8:30 bis 10:30), der Pool wurde jeden 2. Tag in aller Frühe (zwischen 6:00 Uhr und 7:30 gereinigt), der Gärtner war ebenfalls einige Male Vormittags da. Der Fußweg zu den nächsten Tavernen dauert ca. 25 Minuten, für den Weg zum Strand ist das Auto erforderlich, ca. 4 Kilometer. Schöner Strand mit Sand, Beachbar mit Liegen, Schirmen, Tischen und vernünftigen Preisen. In der Vorsaison (Mitte Mai) noch nicht so überlaufen, vermutlich in der Hauptsaison voller bis sehr voll (nach der Anzahl der Liegen zu urteilen). Entfernung zu Heraklion Airport ca. 100 km, 1,5 Stunden Fahrzeit.

Wir haben wirklich schon eine Vielzahl von tollen Villen im Mittelmeerraum gemietet, aber diese Villa ist einstimmig unser Favorit. Eine ruhige, einzigartige Lage inmitten der Olivenbäume, ein durchdachtes, komfortables Haus und natürlich der wundervolle Garten voll mit Obst und Gemüse. Im nahen Ort Epsikopi bekommt man alles, was man möchte (Supermarkt, Bäcker, Tankstelle, Tavernen). Die Nähe zur Stadt Rethymnon hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder ...

Villa Luni was everything we needed for a perfect family holiday. Enough space for 10 of us not to be in each other’s pockets. Well equipped (the only thing missing was any bbq utensils). The help yourself veg garden was a real bonus. The Villa is well maintained, can’t really fault it.

Exceeded all expectation

Villa Luni was incredible. All communication in the run up was informative and the response time was very quick. The Villa itself was stunning, clean and spacious. The photos do not prepare you for the views, they do not nearly do it justice! There is an abundance of options to sit and lounge in/out of the shade around the pool and the house. The gardener would bring us fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden to enjoy, which was a real treat. The sunsets over the bay where also something we will never forget! We really enjoyed the location, just a 20 minute walk into the village with some lovely restaurants, and very welcoming locals. On occasion, if we didn't want to drive the managing company were just a phone call away to organise cabs for us to get to the beach or to make a reservation somewhere for us. The stay was faultless, I would recommend Villa Luni without hesitation, and we would come back in a heartbeat.

Mooie grote, luxe villa. Alles aanwezig. Rustig, dorpje vlakbij Rethymon. Eigenaresse heel vriendelijk, doet niet moeilijk over iets. Heerlijk zwembad dat wel apart betaald moet worden om te verwarmen. Om de drie dagen schoon beddengoed, handdoeken en wordt alles gepoetst!

Amazing villa

We had a fantastic week at Villa Luni. Stunning location with fabulous views across the bay, lovely pool and beautiful gardens. Inside the villa is super spacious and well equipped. You can’t not relax! Kostas and his team at Etouri are incredibly responsive to any queries or needs. We always holiday somewhere new but might just have to return to Villa Luni as we all loved it so much!

Wohlfühl Oase mit Blick auf Berge und Mer

Die Villa Luni liegt malerisch auf einer Anhöhe mit Blick auf die weißen Berge, den kleinen Ort Episkopi sowie bis hinunter zum Meer. Die Villa ist perfekt ausgestattet für 2 Familien, der Pool riesig, das Grundstück sehr gepflegt und mit alten Olivenbäumen versehen. Alle Angaben des Vermieters stimmen zu 100%. Da wir erst spät abends angereist sind, hatte der Vermieter netterweise den Kühlschrank mit Basics gefüllt und einen Obstkorb bereitgestellt. Wir wurden mit Tipps für die Umgebung versorgt und haben innerhalb kurzer Zeit antworten auf unsere Fragen erhalten. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen bestimmt bald wieder. Absolutely superb villa. Exactly as we expected. Modern and clean with lovely gardens and pool area , sitting in a traditional olive grove. Had everything we could possibly need and was a joy to come back after a day of exploring the local area. Lots to see and do on the doorstep. Would definitely like to return and would highly recommend!

Villa Luni is truly a great experience if you are seeking for a calm and luxurious holiday with your family staying just outside of all tourist areas but still close to the beaches and just 15 minutes by car to Rethymno city for more night life. It was a perfect place to relax having a large high quality house including a large pool that was used all the time! Villa Luni was the best object we could choose for our holiday on crete. It started with the great service from etouri, even before we arrived at the villa we felt like we are in the right hands: Quick & kind replies to all our questions and perfect assistance for our stay, just to name a few.
