Fisherman's House in the center of Quiberon


The house is located in the center of the village of Quiberon, 2 minutes walk from the beach and Port Maria.
The house is on the corner of the square of the regional market on Saturday and is two minutes walk from the station for the little train 'the Corkscrew' serving the Auray station (in July and August);
Quiberon is an almost island with a rugged coastline, cliffs and trails for walking and biking.
The other side is more secure especially with many beautiful sandy beaches and safe for children.
The island has a micro climate with an exceptional number of days of sunshine.
The village center has many shops.


Especially visit the islands, Belle Ile, Houat and Hoedic Islands. Boarding is at Port Maria 2 minutes from the house.

Cute house, had almost everything we needed. The parking was listed as on site, but actually we had to park about 150 metres away and was subject to a disque bleue system which allowed 4 hours parking between 08:00 and 20:00. This became onerous, we were there for 15 nights. Quiberon is a great place, we rarely ventured far, would visit again but only if we had parking on site.

Superbe sejour dans la maison de Clare. L’emplacement est idéal, le jardin est trop mignon et la maison à un vrai charme. Au delà de la propreté il y a tout ce qu’il faut pour passer un séjour des plus confortable. Clare est très disponible. Je recommande vivement !

Agréable maison, très bien située

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la maison de Clare. La maison est très bien équipée et le fond de placard très appréciable, ça change des locations où il n'y a même pas une éponge ou un rouleau de papier toilette en arrivant ! La maison était très propre à notre arrivée, c'est joliment décoré, la literie est de très bonne qualité, y compris le convertible, et le jardin est vraiment agréable. Quant à la situation géographique, c'est parfait, à 2 min de la grande plage et du manège !

Situation idéale

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à 3 (2 adultes et 1 enfant de 2 ans). La maison est idéalement située (plage et commerces) et nous avons pu laisser la voiture au parking mis à disposition pendant presque tout le séjour. La maison est soignée et la propriétaire très disponible. A recommander !

Une charmante petite maison avec jardin, où nous avons passé un séjour très agréable. Situé a quelques pas du centre de Quiberon, elle dispose d'un jardin et de trois étages bien aménagés. On a hâte d'y revenir!

Agréables vacances

Charmante maison particulièrement bien située, proche de la plage et du centre ville (y compris les concerts en soirée). Nous y avons logé à 5 (2 adultes et 3 enfants) sans nous sentir à l'étroit, le beau temps nous ayons permis de nombreux repas sur la terrasse. Le jardin n'est pas grand mais bien à l abri des regards des passants ou du voisinage. Nous avons apprécié le style d" aménagement et la touche personnelle, cela se voit quand les propriétaires occupent aussi la maison ! Seul petit bémol, l'absence de four, heureusement bien compensée par le barbecue, le soleil étant au rendez vous !

Très agréable séjour

Agréable maison de location, bien située au centre de Quiberon, à proximité de la grande plage et de la grande place tout à fait conforme à la description. Le petit jardin fleuri et très bien orienté, plein sud et à l'abri du vent, permet de déjeuner ou se reposer sur des chaises longues. Nous avons adoré, notre fille aussi. La propriétaire est très sympathique.

Un emplacement idéal !

Cette ancienne petite maison de pêcheur entièrement rénovée se trouve à moins de 5 minutes à pied de toutes les commodités nécessaire pour passer un agréable séjour (commerces, plages, port d'embarquement pour Belle-Île...). Le maison correspond parfaitement au descriptif et aux photos. L'extérieur est très agréable également et à l'abri du vent. La propriétaire est aux petits soins avec ses locataires puisqu'elle est spécialement venue pour préparer la maison pour notre arrivée et elle donne également plein de conseils pour profiter pleinement. Le couple qui nous accueille est également très sympathique. Il n'y a pas de wifi mais après tout, on est en vacances :) Je recommande vivement cette location aux vacanciers qui recherchent l'authentique et la simplicité.

Disappointing

To make one thing clear: this is a nice old fisherman's house with true character that is obviously much loved by its owner. But it is not a good holiday house as one not only feels like an intruder in someone else's private house but also because it is well below-standard given the price for a week (we enjoyed another week in a popular place in Brittany closer to the sea to a much cheaper price). Not much attention is paid to cleanliness (dishes were dirty, dust everywhere, spider webs even in the living room and dead black bugs in the bathroom) and kitchen equippement, bath rooms (the leak through the ceiling) and toilets are far away from state of the art. Yes, much has been done nicely that might suit personal purpose very well, but jamming cupboards and moldy sofas are not everybody's taste. It is not the kind of place you would like to spend a long rainy Breton day in - not least because of an irritating smell in the living room. A disadvantage for all those arriving by car: there is no allocated parking space and Quiberon is running a rigorous policy against long-term parking. This means you have to cruise neighboring areas for a while to find a free space with the closest spot in 10-15 minutes walking distance. If you use Quiberon as hub for discovering the South of Brittany, add 45 minutes to a good hour every day for collecting and parking your car.

C'est notre second séjour dans cette charmante maison. Elle est idéalement située, très agréable à vivre, ensoleillée avec un jardin très bien exposé et à l'abri du vent. Nos enfants, comme nous, avons adoré. La propriétaire est de surcroît très sympa.
