We welcome you to Satriano - our beautiful home among the olives and vineyards on the Umbria/Tuscan border. Satriano is a standalone private villa with large solar-heated pool, wifi, veranda and patio offering both proper shade and sun. Enjoy the private garden, pick herbs to cook with delicious vegetables from the local markets, or just relax on the veranda with a glass of Tuscan wine, and enjoy the glorious views and sunsets.

There are beautiful walks and bike rides in the hills straight from the house, and yet you are a few minutes drive from the shops and great restaurants in Monterchi and the vibrant historic centres of Anghiari, Sansepolcro, Citta di Castello and Arezzo. Slightly further are Cortona (1hr), Perugia (50mins), Florence (1.5hrs) and Assisi (1hr). For art lovers, this is the land of Piero della Francesca and Donatello. For wine lovers we can recommend wine tastings and tours nearby. And of course there is the wonderful food and markets of Tuscany and Umbria to enjoy. This is the land of porcini and truffles. Bring back local delicacies for the barbeque, such as the abundant local vegetables, porcini mushrooms, truffles as well as local meat and cheeses. As well as providing details of local shops, markets and restaurants, we recommend a local chef who can prepare and serve an evening meal on site. For keen walkers, as well as hikes straight from the door, a short drive takes you to the beautiful hiking trails of Monte della Luna.

Or simply spend days relaxing by the pool or lazing in the hammock on the veranda.

For music lovers there are many festivals in July and August, for example the classical music festival in Anghiari, Umbrian Jazz in Perugia, Festival dei Nazioni in Citta di Castello, or open-air opera in Preggio..

The house sleeps 4, with two bedrooms with double beds, two bathrooms, plus a poolside WC. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped with a view to die for. There is wifi throughout including at the poolside, USB ports in kitchen, living room and poolside.

Satriano is a tranquil and beautiful spot that instils a sense of calm from the moment of your arrival.

Getting to us is easy by car from nearest airports of Perugia, Florence , or Pisa. Access to the house itself is an easy short drive up a well-made gravel road.
