Incorrect location advertised, didn't get refund
Although the property itself was clean, the advertised address was completely incorrect, and showed the property in Cenes de La Vega, which is well connected to Granada city centre by bus, that fact being the reason I booked it. However, the property is actually located in Pinos Genil, almost 4km from the advertised location (this mistake is now rectified and the advertisement now shows the correct location). After an already-complicated check-in process (the owner put me in contact with a friend who has the keys, and the three of us were contacting each other trying to figure out the best way to give me the keys, as the friend had to drive from another village to give me the keys), I then had to figure out a new way of transport to the property from the city centre, and after missing the last bus at 10pm (the bus to Pinos Genil left every 2-3 hours, very infrequent) I was terrified and had to get an uber to a place I didn't know. The owner admitted her mistake in entering property details but saw no reason to give a refund, and Vrbo claimed as the property was under 30mins from the advertised address they would not give a refund. I would never had booked this place if I'd known its true location. After a very stressful day and being quite shaken in the evening the location was too poorly connected to the city for me to continue my trip to Granada and I left the property after 1 night, despite having booked 2. I understand mistakes happen but this was not a good experience.
