Pine forest with lake between Florence and Bologna

The Abetaia of Pian del voglio is located in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, exactly halfway between Florence and Bologna, on the VIA DEGLI DEI, which leads from Pian del voglio to Val Serena: it is part of a large mountain company, owned by the same family for more than 900 years, who until the unification of Italy were the feudal lords of the place, and beat their currency.

The accommodation

In the closed area there are various paths through the fir, pine, beech and chestnut woods. It is possible to fish in the lake, collect mushrooms, chestnuts, blackberries and other berries. The Abetaia is the ideal place for green therapy and is also suitable for small groups of yoga or other meditation disciplines

Guest access

The house offers three double bedrooms (with large twin beds, which can become double), two bathrooms, a large kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, a large living room with fireplace and a beautiful terrace overlooking the lake, by choice there are television and microwave. Instead there is internet connection.
