It was a beautiful location, with a quiet residential feel but plenty of shops nearby and a quick bus ride to everything. The apartment itself was bright and charming.

Edinburgh in July

Overall the property was great. There was a little grocery nearby to buy morning coffee and bakery goods, although a coffee maker would have been welcomed. We able to walk to many attractions and take in the quaint streets and buildings along our way. We enjoyed our stay and made ourselves at home in this house. I was disappointed that was not an actual clothes dryer as illustrated in the property details, but just a rack. But we were able to "go with the flow" and had had a wonderful time! Thank you!The communications with our host was very good and generally timely.

The house was lovely and in a great location. Unfortunately, we had no hot water or use of the stove due to a gas problem for much of our time there . We discovered this upon arrival. The management company sent us a message less than an hour before our check in time but we didn’t get it until we were in the apartment . This was late afternoon on a Saturday . We were informed that the problem would not be fixed until Monday at the earliest . Our group included two seniors in our mid-70’s, two young adults and one teenager. It was an important family vacation for us. We were exhausted after flying overnight and asked to stay the night and try to find other accommodation in the morning . The response was leave now and get a full refund or stay the entire time and receive a 50% discount .Finding other accommodations for our group was impossible because it was a Saturday night of a bank holiday weekend and the Edinburgh marathon was happening. We understand that things do go wrong but their response and lack of flexibility was outrageous . We did stay but had no hot water for three of the five days we were there. If you are considering renting this property I strongly recommend thinking twice before doing so. VRVO on the other hand was very responsive and made an effort to be helpful .

Lovely apartment - needs some maintenance.

The main bathroom (bath/shower/toilet/sinks) is in the lower level. The toilet does not work. It takes hours to come to enough pressure to flush each time. Property manager sent a plumber, made no difference. Bath/shower drains very slowly, as do the sinks. The only other option is a toilet/sink on the main level.

Very nice house in a convenient neighborhood. Quiet too. Only weird thing I’d say is that there was no soap in either bathroom. Weird because the place was otherwise well equipped.
