Foxglove Kabyn - Semi-Rural Retreat Set In Enclosed Two Acre Garden

Foxglove Kabyn is a beautiful purpose built semi-detached log cabin set in two acres of private garden in the St Ives Bay area. Foxglove and the adjoining Cowslip Kabyn can be booked separately or together for a larger family or group. The grounds are fully enclosed with access via an electric gate and providing plenty of room for parking. Foxglove Kabyn features one double bedroom, shower room/WC and an open plan kitchen/diner/lounge with a 4 foot sofa bed. The front of the cabin features a large sun deck with seating overlooking the gardens and adjacent fields/horse paddock.

The property features a separate laundry room solely for the use of guests including both a washing machine and tumble dryer. Washing lines are also available for each cabin along with a separate rotary washing line.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin, it was spotless and equipped with everything we needed for our 1 week stay, Peter is very friendly and helpful, Hayle was close to everything we planned to visit. We absolutely loved our holiday in Cornwall!

I enjoyed my stay here. The Kabyn, thta has everything you need, is secluded in a lovely paddock that is safe and secure. Peter and Carolyn are friendly and very helpful.

Ideal location for St Ives and Hayle

We had a great time staying here, it’s in a good location out the way of all the hustle and bustle of the towns, but close enough that it’s a 10-15 minute drive out to at Ives. Would be a little longer to walk but ideal for bikes. All the amenities are there, it’s like a home from home. A perfect base to explore Cornwall. Wifi was a little temperamental but not an issue if you’re relaxing on holiday tbh. Would recommend!

Foxglove Kabyn

A fabulous place to stay, the location is great if you want to explore all the sights and beaches. Foxglove Kabyn is lovely, it is set in lovely secure grounds with views of open countryside. The Kabyn itself is furnished to a high standard, with lovely bed linen and towels. There is onsite laundry facilities and the owners are very welcoming and available if you need them. The grounds are well maintained and the Kabyn is well placed to enjoy the evening sunset with a glass of wine. I can definitely recommend.

Cosy holiday let , great for dog.

We arrived late but had messaged ahead and Peter was looking out for us. Everything we needed was easy to find. It was very cosy & fine for 2 of us and a large dog - comfortable double bed and sofa bed. Well stocked kitchen area (with cooker). As the adjacent cabin was not booked we were able to let the dog run around the safely fenced off paddock area. In warmer weather it would be great to sit out on the deck. Would definitely recommend , good for a chill out as well as a base for visiting the area: Penzance, St. Ives, Hayle (we had a delicious late Sunday breakfast at "Birdies Bistro" overlooking the river. Big thanks to the Jefferys who were very welcoming and helpful.

Set in peaceful surroundings

Foxglove cabin in Hayle was a lovely cabin for our stay. It met all our requirements for the time we were away. Peter our host was very friendly and was always on hand if their were any issues or problems to solve. He was very helpful to us upon our arrival on places to visit and places to eat out. Really enjoyed our stay there. Thank you Peter for making us so welcome and for the welcome basket. Highly recommend Foxglove Cabin. Many thanks Andy & Tracey

Really nice lodge, ideal location for with having a toddler and a dog. Very clean and well maintained. Close to the beach and local shops. Central to all large coastal towns within an hour to all main destinations... Port Isaac and fowey, Penzance. Will definitely fintely stay again..

Foxglove Kabyn is a well-equipped, cosy, warm, comfortable (especially the bed!) and quiet holiday cottage with a lovely large garden. It is well-located for many parts of Cornwall. We had a good two weeks' holiday based there and found Peter and Caroline to be very friendly hosts.

Lovely place, great host

We loved the large grass area for the kids to run around and play cricket on! Owner was very friendly and welcoming. It was private and had an electric gate so felt very secure. It was the perfect base to explore nearby st ives and penzance and the local beach was also good. The shower doors were a bit difficult to use but didn't affect our stay and was a good price. We really enjoyed it and would go again!

Our stay at Foxglove Kabyn

We have had a fantastic 11 nights at Foxglove Kabyn. We stayed with a 10 month old and 3 year old , the site is extremely secure and allowed for our toddler to run around in large grassed and gated surroundings. The location is ideal , out of the hustle and bustle of st Ives, with quick access to Hayle , Carbis Bay , St Ives and the A30 for trips beaches further out (aldi and Asda also under 5 min drive away ). The hosts at this property were wonderful! They live on site and available for anything we needed. Very friendly and definitely go above and beyond. Overall I would highly recommend this property and will be returning in the future. Great base for us, well equipped and lovely location !
