Bright, cheery, spacious home in the Shuswap which is only a 2-minute drive to the public beach. Can easily accommodate 10 people with 3 queen beds, 1 double, and a queen foam mattress in the family room. A playpen and child safety gate are also available upon request.

Open concept kitchen/dining/living room with family room and bedrooms upstairs. Fully equipped kitchen complete with appliances, dishes, filtered drinking water, some baking supplies and spices; outside bar-b-que; washer and dryer upstairs; and off-street parking with room for 3 vehicles or 2 with a boat/trailer.

* May, June & September: Minimal 4-day rental
* July & August: Minimal 7-day rental with Saturday Arrival
* No Pets, No Smoking/Vaping inside, and No Parties.

After working at the Salmon Arm Visitor Centre for six years, I’ve built extensive knowledge of the region, including local attractions, activities, and hidden gems. I’d be happy to answer any questions you may have and help you make the most of your stay.

Why they chose this property

In 2002, we decided to subdivide our lot and build this home to accommodate our growing family. We’ve loved being so close to the lake and mountains, with year-round activities including swimming, boating, kayaking, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and two downhill ski resorts all within an hour’s drive. The area also offers a rich variety of arts, music, and cultural experiences. Raising our children in Canoe has been truly special, where there’s still a strong sense of community and neighbours look out for one another.

Canoe is conveniently located halfway between Calgary and Vancouver. It is home to the only public swimming beach in the immediate Salmon Arm area, and with its hot summers and mild winters, it’s an ideal destination for a relaxing vacation year-round.
