Cozy cottage overlooking Tuscan countryside

Stone cottage with private pool (size 7x14 m. - depth from 1 to 1,40 m.) Situated in the green, panoramic hills near the hilltop village of Casole d’Elsa.

Accommodation is offered on the elevated ground floor composed by a cozy leaving room with a double sofa bed and access onto a large panoramic terrace (50 m2), 1 double bedroom, 1 double bedroom with and extra single bed, 1 bathroom with shower, 1 bathroom with bathtub, kitchen / dining room. The owners (very polite and discrete people, are, for professional reasons, most of the time away) leave the lower ground floor with own access and outdoor area, and are in no way limiting the guests' total privacy. 

The close village offering all kinds of amenities (restaurants, bars, ice cream shop, supermarket, grocery shops, tennis court, etc) is just over km away and reachable on foot.  

Ideally situated for visiting the most renowned historical and art centers in Tuscany as well as many other smaller characteristic villages in the Chianti region, and within easy reach of the "Siena - Florence" toll free motorway (13 km).

Beat gateway to Tuscany

Place is amazing. Spacious, clean. beautiful, quiet, cute. Has all the amenities.Its well located to access all the small towns as well as the big cities of Florence and Siena.

Tuscany Holiday

This was an absolute gem of a property and was in a perfect location for touring the many smaller towns within a 90 minute or so radius. The property was quiet and had glorious afternoon sun. The owner lives nearby with family living below the top part of the home. Everyone was so friendly with so many suggestions. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Family stay in Solaio

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in Arianna's house. The apartment has an incredible sight on the Tuscanian coutryside and is well located for visiting many sites (Siena, S Gimignano etc). Arianna is available and always ready to help. Among the only drawbacks are the fact that the swimming pool (very nice) is shared with other people (including Arianna's family members), which does not appear clearly on the annoncement and the proximity with Arianna's family (house underneath). Good rent in all.

We loved our stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Bel Sole. The location is a true gem. Nestled amidst the rolling hills and with breathtaking views, it offers a serene retreat with the added benefit of being close to the enchanting town of Casole d'Elsa. The proximity allowed us to explore the town's historic charm and dine in its delightful restaurants - we particularly loved how they closed the street at 8PM so the restaurants could offer ample dining outside. While walking to town from the villa would be difficult, it's a short drive away, making it convenient to immerse yourself in the Tuscan experience. One of the highlights of Villa Bel Sole is the beautiful swimming pool. It became our favorite spot to relax and unwind. The villa itself is bright and sunny; its large windows invite the Tuscan sunshine indoors, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The two spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms provided ample comfort and privacy for our group. The terrace offered the perfect setting for enjoying meals al fresco while gazing out at the picturesque landscape. One of the most memorable aspects for us was meeting the lovely Italian grandmother who lives downstairs. In conclusion, Villa Bel Sole is a hidden treasure in the heart of Tuscany. Its idyllic location, stunning views, and comfortable accommodations make it a perfect choice for those seeking a Tuscan escape. It's a place where you can immerse yourself in the beauty of the region while enjoying the comforts

Fantastic Tuscany Location

Our host was fantastic, from communication to check-in to recommendations for restaurants and activities. Arianna was a delight. On a couple occasions, she was aided by family members who live on the floor below the apartment. They even lent us some olive oil one night. Sharing the overall space was not a problem. The view from the apartment is incredible. You get 180° of Tuscany beauty with barely another house in the view. The grounds of the house are amazing. There are flowers everywhere, lemon trees in pots and the pencil pines are classic Tuscany. We could not have asked for a better view. The apartment features massive windows, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a cozy kitchen. If you're not outside on the spacious balcony, you still get the million dollar view. From Casole D'Elsa, you can reach many tourist sites within an hour or so. We made successive day trips in our car. Be sure to get home by the Golden hour to enjoy the sunset. The pool is big and beautiful but it was too cold in early May to use it. The washer was a little finicky but we finally sorted that out. The driveway to the house is long and there's a beautful set of outside stairs to climb to the front door (we're in our 60's). But it's worth it! This was a once in a lifetime trip and we're happy to have spent a good part of it here.

Perfekter Osterurlaub in den Hügeln der Toskana

Toskana pur

Genauso stellt man sich die Toskana vor. Wunderschöner Blick in die Natur. Das Haus ist toll, alles was man braucht ist da. Arianna ist eine sehr herzliche Vermieterin. Wir wurden mit selbst gebackenen Kuchen empfangen der auch noch mega lecker war. Danke Arianna für Alles!!! Preis - Leistung passt! Dieses Objekt kann ich wirklich empfehlen 😄👍

Très belle villa en Toscane mais annonce mensongère

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette maison de vacances. L'accueil a été fait de manière très agréable par la responsable qui a su être discrète mais présente à nos questions. La maison est grande, propre et bien située au calme en pleine nature tout en étant à proximité d'un joli petit village et des commerces. Le gros point négatif concerne la fausse information donnée sur le site ABRITEL concernant la piscine qui est annoncée comme PRIVEE alors qu'elle est partagée avec d'autres villas de vacances. Trop tard pour nous lorsque nous l'avons vu sur le contrat final par le propriétaire. De plus nous avons appris à notre arrivée seulement qu'il y avait des horaires restrictifs (fermée entre 19h30 et 9h00). Il faut donc oublier les petites baignades nocturnes en famille. L'annonce ABRITEL fait mention des propriétaires souvent absents qui habitent au rez de la maison. C'est également faux. Il s'agit en fait d'un couple de personnes âgées, très discrètes mais bien présents tous les jours qui y habitent. Dernier point à regretter, la très mauvaise isolation de la maison qui nous a fait beaucoup souffrir de la chaleur jour et nuit. En résumé, très belle propriété mais annonce mensongère sur le site ABRITEL sur différents points. Compte tenu de ces éléments le prix de la villa est surestimé.

Schöne Wohnung mit tollem Ausblick

Die Wohnung ist wirklich sehr schön gelegen und hat einen tollen Pool! Außergewöhnlich ist Arianna, welche die Gäste begrüßt und sich unglaublich liebenswert betreut. Auf den Bildern wirkt die Wohnung größer, ist aber für 4-5 Personen absolut ausreichend. Die Lage ist wunderbar und man kann auch in ca. 25 Minuten in die Stadtmitte laufen. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten liegen in ca. 30-60 Minuten Fahrtzeit. Es ist ein sehr erholsamer und wunderbarer Urlaubsort!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft

Sehr schöne ruhige Lage, aber nicht zu weit vom Ortszentrum und Einkaufsmöglichkeit entfernt. Die Besitzerin Arianna war sehr freundlich. Für die Kinder war der große Pool natürlich das Highlight. Alles bestens, empfehlenswert.

Steinhaus in idyllischer und ruhiger Lage

Der Aufenthalt in Solaio war einmalig. Das Steinhaus liegt etwas außerhalb von Casole d‘Elsa und umliegende Städte sind schnell erreichbar. Der Pool ist groß und einfach perfekt. An diesem Ort kann man zur Ruhe kommen und trotzdem durch Städtetrips Kultur erleben. Die Vermieter sind super. Alles in einem absolut empfehlenswert.
