Beautiful Multi. Family 4bdrm. "El Vado Lake" Cabin with Jaccuzi

This spacious cabin is located in close proximity to El Vado and Heron Lakes. Mutliple families and kid friendly! Located approximately 25 minutes south of Chama this location is ideal for enjoying the lakes and the Chama region. Wildlife abundant, with deer, elk, turkey, and more. This 3200+ sq. ft., 4 bedroom, 3 bath, comfortably sleeps 10-12, with couches and air mattresses if more beds are needed.
We bought this home as our family loves the area and all it offers in the region and outdoors close by. We want others to enjoy getting away to this beautiful area and have an affordable place to stay while they explore, relax, and have fun new family/friend adventures.
This home has new appliances, outdoor grill, Jacuzzi hot tub/ play room with a Ping-Pong table. The master bedroom offers a king bed and futon. 2nd upstairs bdrm. has a queen bed. Lower rooms: one has queen and the other has one queen and a bunk bed with full size mattresses on top and bottom. Kitchen dining table expands and has chairs for 10. Huge carport will fit multi. autos and the garage is also available as needed.

It was a nice cabin, it would be nice if it had WiFi but other than that it was great. You have to drive about 4 miles out to get service so if you’re trying to run work it’s a bit inconvenient but for 2 days it worked out great.

Perfect home base in a beautiful setting

There were 9 adults in our group, Aunts and Uncles and cousins. This property worked exactly right for us. Close to the places we wanted to visit, beautiful wooded setting, some glorious sunsets, and lots of places to explore. Large kitchen to fix group meals and the dining table was perfect for playing games in the evening. Had a very lovely stay, only wish we had just a few days longer to enjoy it. We will be back next year. The host was extremely helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you we all enjoyed it.

Great relaxing family getaway

Beautiful, cabin with an open layout and plenty of family activities like cards, board games, ping pong table, air hockey, fooseball and the hot tub and a big collection of family friendly DVDs and all without internet. The kids were not distracted with the internet and were entertained and engaged with the family while we played games, went to the lake for fishing and watched movies. This was a much needed getaway, the house was stocked with all our needs. Thank you for sharing your beautiful getaway with us.
