A wonderful house with everything we could possibly need - apart from a fabulous view of the sea, there is so much comfortable space in the house for the enlarged family group. Kitchen is well-equipped, bathrooms with lovely hot water - could have had more than one large towel. Very comfortable beds. Plenty of mirrors with sockets for hairdryer nearby! It did take a while to find some essentials, notably baby chair, as well as sweeping brush. Will definitely recommend.
When we walked in the property it was so far above expectation I thought we were in the wrong place. We stayed during the heat wave that hit Wales but with the windows and breeze we were still very comfortable. All amenities worked well, tons of space and the bedroom bathroom set up was the best, everyone had their own space and area to relax. And the views.... oh my goodness gorgeous. The beach just down the road was the best beach we found in all of Wales, and we went to a LOT of beaches. The farm stand down the road was exceptional, thanks to the host we quickly found and visited often during our stay. There is a close large grocery 15 min away for anything else we needed. There were toys and games for the kids, books and local guides. One of the best stays our family has ever had.

SO pleased you enjoyed it, means a great deal to us when guests love it as much as we do!
Thankyou
Our second visit to Lower Folly, which already says a lot! Unrivalled views and perfect situation to enjoy the Coast Path.
We’ve now experienced the cottage in Spring and Winter, Kay sets things up expertly with everything we needed for a comfortable, enjoyable holiday.
Thank you so much! We hope to return again in 2022
Lovely location with amazing sea views. Cottage well equipped and comfortable with large kitchen diner including conservatory with sea views.
Nice local pubs and lots of walking.
We loved Lower Folly, very good location to explore the St Brides bay area and Pembrokeshire. The only problem was the flies where Lower Folly is, we had to keep all the doors and windows shut to keep them out, as they are everywhere outside!

Really sorry about the flies, can only imagine it’s due to the unusual weather conditions, we have had more at home too!
The property was excellent. Large, well appointed living space with loads of room. We were 6 adults, one child and one baby and we all had ample space.
The house was perfectly clean on arrival and just as presented in the photos, if not even better. With a 1 year old, we’d been slightly concerned about whether it’d be suitable - but our daughter loved the open plan living space and we found it easy to supervise her. The sea views from almost every room are wonderful and are even better enjoyed from the spacious garden. We hope to be able to return!
My family and I had a fantastic 3 nights stay x What a beautiful cottage with breathtaking views , We had everything we could possibly need , lots of kitchenware, comfy beds and lovely bathrooms x The garden was so lovely and we were so fortunate to have the most beautiful weather. Thank you Kay for letting us stay , I had the best birthday ever 😁 xx
This was the perfect rental property for our long awaited week in Pembrokeshire after lockdown. Everything was perfect from booking, covid arrangements, the cottage itself and the location
We had a fantastic short break at this property. It was warm, comfortable and had superb facilities. Views were amazing and constantly changing. Couldn’t fault anything at all.
Thai property was in a fantastic location it was perfect for families or groups of friends and was right on the costal path.
Would recommend this property for a most relaxing stay.
A nice spacious house for our family holiday. Plenty of lovely comfy seating, good beds and ensuite bathrooms. The views are wonderful especially for stargazing at night! The garden was safe and secure for our toddlers. Parking was a bit tight as is shared with cottage next door and we had 3 cars between us, but we managed. A few more pans would be perfect for the kitchen as we mainly cooked for ourselves in the evenings. I would have really liked a proper BBQ, but we adapted the (very old) fire pit....! Great dishwasher and always plenty of hot water for showers and baby bathing. Our first time to this area of Wales, it certainly wont be our last - we loved the coast line and we were blessed with very good weather for 5 out of our 7 days! Loved watching the sheep and cows in the fields, and generally chilling.....
Great house. Plenty of space inside and outside and safe for our 3yr old grandson to explore the garden. Very clean and all the amenities you could need. Communication with Kay was easy, accurate and frequent. Very helpful.
Surrounded by fields with cows, horses and sheep, so peaceful. Views out to sea are amazing, especially sat with a drink on the patio in the evening. Nolton beach is ten minutes walk straight down the hill from the house. We used Newgale more as it was better for the little one, that was about a five minute drive along the picturesque coast road. We all had a great time and would definitely return.
Brilliant and comfortable house perfect for exploring the stunning area
Were there during storm Dennis with 3 young children. The house was incredibly warm and comfortable (and robust). We enjoyed relaxing in the house playing games and watching Netflix, and went on many amazing walks along the coast. Really lovely house, setting and area. Nice and remote spot but close enough to amenities. Brilliant winter holiday. Highly recommended.
all you could want in a house . Views fantastic of surrounding area and the sea . Easy to reach coastal path , beaches and towns. Ideal for a relaxing break.
This is a beautiful comfortable home, set on a quiet country lane. Views from the terrace are spectacular. The home is spacious, well appointed, well maintained and very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return.
We stayed here with our daughter, husband and three children when they visited from California, as they were desperate to see puffins. The house exceeded all our expectations and three nights was not enough. The views are stunning and the house is beautifully renovated and appointed. I fear it is going to booked up way ahead in years to come and home I don’t regret a good review!
It is conveniently situated for seeing the area and we had a wonderful day on Skomer on a warm, sunny day. Best meal out was at St Brides Inn in Little Haven, where my husband and I had eaten before.
Toll!

Why they chose this property
Lower Folly is absolutely lovely with breathtaking views out to Sea which are hard to capture, but read the reviews which confirm its unique location. The House was in ruin when we took the challenge on and saved it for the future. We tried our best to preserve what was there and use local products to build and repair. We have gone for Green Electricity and a brand new A rated boiler for lashings of hot water and heating. There are views of the sea from nearly every window There is a large patio, bbq outside prep area for amazing outside dining Alternatively with its large modern open plan kitchen linked to the conservatory you can eat inside what ever the weather and enjoy the view Guests enjoy a few drinks at the bar whilst someone is cooking in the large open plan space or you can become mesmerised by the sea There is also a large garden to explore with its own fire pit in the stone circle
