The location near the beach and the retail precinct could not be better. The apartment is large and has a lovely feel to it. Basque Stay provided great service - a really professional, friendly and responsive group of people.
I don't think this can be actually improved but guests should be aware that sound proofing (for sleeping) within the apartment is not so great.

The apartment is beautifully appointed with everything a family would need including the 3 bathrooms, which were a bonus. The location is perfectly situated in the heart of San Sebastián. Just a few blocks to Old Town to see the Basilica and make a grand pinxto crawl. It’s just steps from beautiful Concha beach and you can stop for a 10E breakfast on the patio at the famous Hotel Londres on your way. The San Martin Merkatua is 1/2 block away for a truly European food shopping experience. This apartment helped us to feel like locals. We are already looking forward to a return trip.
This property is in a great location to old town & beach. Comfotably fits 6 people. We had 8 (4 couples) so used the fold out couch in the lounge. All bedding & towels supplied. Supermarket next door.
Only problem we found were they the dishes & glasses were dirty. Had to wash everything prior to use. Only 1 dishwasher tablet & very little dishwashing liquid supplied.
You don't get more central than this! Crazy. You are literally 4 stories above the main shopping district downtown, 1.5 blocks from the beach, and can stroll along the water to old town for pinxtos etc. We have stayed in town before, and I was so happy to be in this apartment above the San Martin market....great for all food needs, fun to shop for meats, breads, etc. It wasn't loud, the apartment has great windows that can really block any noise....also there is no driving just below the building, it is a walking street with a popular cafe. Key pick-up was easy, leaving the property was easy. Super seamless.
Due to Covid we were unable to visit Spain. The owner would not refund the 10% deposit but provided a credit for next year that we won’t be able to use. Very disappointing considering the circumstances. Thank goodness the deposit was not large.

Antiguo y amplio departamento con EXCELENTE ubicación
La ubicación es excelente , el edificio antiguo, lo que hace que el departamento tenga una distribución rara y con desniveles, pero es muy lindo y amplio.
Habría que remodelar los pisos como hicieron en algunos ambientes ya que está todo en desnivel.
La TV del living prácticamente no puede usarse, es muy vieja y no andaba ni el control ni nada. Solo pudimos usarla conectando la laptop con un HDMI que llevamos.
