Warren Farmhouse dates back to 1780 and is the perfect peaceful retreat. It has been refurbished as a family home, retaining many original features and providing very comfortable accommodation. Log fires, beamed ceilings and a well equipped farmhouse kitchen with an aga add to the charm and character. Warren Farmhouse enjoys unbeatable views and is fabulously located for those seeking a beautiful rural getaway. Whilst the house is only occasionally snowed in, particularly between December and February, it is best suited to people who enjoy being in remote countryside. The surrounding fields and heather moorland are home to an abundance of wildlife, including lapwing, curlew and red grouse. Ideal for walking, bird watching, active holidays with family, friends, or to celebrate a special occasion. The moors, footpaths and bridleways are on your doorstep, and Kildale’s small train station is on the glorious Esk Valley line to the ancient seaport of Whitby, passing through Goathland, Heartbeat’s village; you can even enjoy the leisurely journey by steam. Visit the Georgian market town of Stokesley where the partly cobbled streets are lined with inns, tea rooms and a mix of shops. Explore the heritage coast and sandy beaches of Yorkshire with seaside towns such as Saltburn, Whitby and Scarborough within easy reach, and fishing villages including Staithes, Runswick Bay and Robin Hood’s Bay. Historic homes, abbeys and castles abound in this area with Newby Hall and Gardens, Castle Howard, the castle ruins in Helmsley and Rievaulx Abbey in the vicinity. Shop, pub and restaurant 4.5 miles.

This I a fantastic place.
This I a fantastic place. We absolutely loved it here. It’s homely, warm and cosy with an aga and underfloor heating, also log burners. The views from all rooms are beautiful and there is no noise but lovely birds feeding from the seed in the garden. The rooms are large and comfortable all with en-suite bathrooms, there is a toilet and large shower room on the ground floor also. Two comfortable living rooms with tv and also small tv room on top floor. The top floor has a large adult bedroom and en suite tv room and a bedroom with 2 single beds and small child bed all ideal for a family to keep together while others use lower floors. good fish and chip shop and co-op in Great Ayton nearby and fantastic chines food from flower garden in guisebrough nearby fantastic wonderful stay and would love to return xx owners very helpful at all times x thank you
