Enjoyed four nights in August at cottage.
Enjoyed four nights in August at cottage. Excellent value for money for the time of year. Comfortable and well equipped. Large enclosed garden for our Cockapoo to chase her ball. Flies a bit of nuisance but being next to a farm with sheep and cattle it is to be expected at this time of year. Kept busy with fly swatter (supplied) lol. Would book again.

This was the 1st break away me and my boyfriend had.
This was the 1st break away me and my boyfriend had. For the 2 of us it was perfect, just the right size. The 'neighbours' we lovely (the sheep) as the 'Old Chapel' is based on a working farm. We visited RSPB Brampton Cliffs, Beverley, Bridlington, Sewerby Hall and Zoo all off which are within an hour's drive. We ate out in local pubs (short drive) these were lovely. We would definitely come back!!

Wendy and her husband are lovely people.
Wendy and her husband are lovely people.
The old Chapel is deceivingly spacious and is in the middle of nowhere.
Good points:
Spacious cute little place.
Incredibly quiet area
Lots of places to walk
Nice pubs nearby (3mile +)
Bad points:
Huuuuuge amount of flies ... get into house easy and keep you awake. Can’t really sit outside due to the annoyance
Overpriced - I think it’s slightly overpriced... if it had a hottub then it’s perfectly priced
Not a dig on the old rectory here but A warning for anyone staying here who fancies a takeaway - do not order from Oasis takeaway in Driffield... over 3 hours and then didn’t deliver still charged.

Absolutely beautiful place.
Absolutely beautiful place. If you want to totally switch off from society it's an amazing location with beautiful veiws. A little far from civilisation for us but I can see the draw. Great taxi service into the village if you want to go for a drink in the lovely local pubs. Highly recommended
