Ysgubor Uchaf (ref 29517) and Hen Ysgubor (ref 29518) are situated further up along the farm’s private lane. Hen Ysgubor is a ground floor apartment situated below Ysgubor Uchaf which is the first floor apartment. They overlook the beautiful Mawddach Estuary, just off the coastal road to Fairbourne. Both properties are close for the beautiful Mawddach Estuary footpath and coastal trail/cycle path and direct access from the farm leads down to the golden sands of Fairbourne beach or across the Victorian bridge to Barmouth.

If you wish you can just relax, enjoy a spot of fishing nearby, or the more energetic can enjoy family walks in the idyllic scenery in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Snowdonia National Park. The family run pony trekking and equestrian centre on-site is just on the north side of the farm, and riders and complete beginners are catered for if you wish to ride. Holiday stabling is available by arrangment should you wish to bring your own horse. Shop, pub and restaurant ¾ mile.

The property is in a perfect location for exploring Snowdonia and was equipped with everything we needed for the week. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The cottage was lovely, Jaxson the Cocker Spaniel was overjoyed with its location and walking facilities. We had a fab time in the most beautiful and tranquil area of the Welsh countryside. Local amenities were limited only by transport requirements as the Fairbourne shops were a short drive away. However overall that was a small inconvenience given the fab location and cottage.
