This barn conversion is a delight for lovers of the countryside, an ideal holiday base for visiting Norfolk and Suffolk.. Ground Floor:

Bathroom: Bath, Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included, remainder available locally. Travel cot and highchair. Small, enclosed lawned garden with patio and garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a step in the garden.. This detached barn conversion is a delight for lovers of the countryside. Although close to the owner’s home, it stands on its own and is a holiday base for visiting the attractions of Norfolk and Suffolk. A pottery can be found in the village, whilst Banham Zoo, Bressingham Gardens and Steam Museum, and Thetford Forest are nearby. The Norfolk Broads and Norwich with its cathedral, castle museum, shopping, pubs and restaurants can be reached within half an hour. 18-hole golf courses at Richmond Park, Watton, Thetford Forest and Barnham Broom. Dinosaur Park, 27 miles. Shop and pub ¾ mile.

We had a wonderful time here, the cottage is cosy and clean with comfortable beds. The local village is small but the pub food is excellent and in walking distance albeit across the fields which was a pleasure for us. Ample parking and contained garden for the doggo. We felt really at home here.

Great cottage!

Home from home. Everything we needed and more at the property. Very clean and well equipped. Fresh milk in the fridge, delicious home made cake and fresh flowers to welcome us. Local pub friendly and food good. Lovely secure garden for our dog and outside table and chairs. All in all, a quality rental! We would highly recommend this cottage.

Fantastic cottage in a beautiful setting

Had a lovely long weekend at the Cottage recently. It was a delight from beginning to end. The property is very well maintained with real attention to detail and personal touches. Our two-year old loved the provided kid's jigsaws and the protected garden. We were presented with a delicious home made cake on arrival (which we didn't manage to finish eating in our short stay) which was a lovely touch. Also was happy to see a good supply of consumables, unlike many cottages I have stayed at.

Fantastic little cottage.

Fantastic little cottage. The four of us adults and a small dog had a lovely weekend in this cottage. Everything was thought of, the kitchen was well stocked and it was so nice to turn up to a homemade cake. Everything felt cosy and comfortable and the log burner was great. We enjoyed having a drink on the patio, it was great to let the dog out on the grass as it is enclosed and the surrounding front garden is such a nice setting for the cottage. We used the supplied dog walks in the folder and drove to Thetford forest for a proper big walk. Thank you for a lovely weekend before lockdown number two. We had a long weekend break here.

We had a long weekend break here. It was fabulous, the location is great, for peace & quiet. The cottage itself is so lovely. The owner met us with the key when we arrived, and showed us round. She had even made us a lovely lemon drizzle cake, and there was tea bags, coffee and milk in the fridge. Which was very welcomed as we had arrived later than expected. We were told where the local shops were, about 10 mins drive away. Where there was supermarkets, take aways, etc. We had plenty of logs for the log burner for the first day, then were able to buy some locally the next day. The weather, when we were there, was nice, albeit a bit cold. But we were lovely and cosy. The cottage throughout was very clean, and homely. We would definitely recommend a visit. We are hoping to visit again in the future.

A lovely cottage, very comfortable and private. Enclosed garden is ideal for bringing a dog. The pub in the village was excellent. However, it is not possible to walk to the pub as the road is very busy and there is no pavement.On the down side there are very few long walks possible direct from the cottage as the number of public footpaths is limited.
