A charming and cosy studio, perfect for a couple’s retreat. It is only a few minutes from Warkworth Castle or enjoy a romantic stroll along the beach.. Ground Floor:

Kitchen: Electric Oven, Gas Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer

First Floor:

Open plan living space.

Living area: 32" Freeview TV, DVD Player, Doors Leading To Juliet Balcony

Bedroom area: Double (4ft 6in) Bed

Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.. Lawned garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. Please note: No children under 3 years old.. Only a few minutes walk from Warkworth Castle and the pretty village centre, this small, comfortable, detached holiday studio is an ideal base for exploring this friendly county. It is set within the friendly owners’ grounds yet offers privacy. With a ground floor kitchen and first floor lounge and bedroom area, this quirky studio is a super base for couples or two friends.



Warkworth has some charming little pubs and tea rooms with walks along the river where it is not unusual to see some rare birds. Nearby, the town of Amble which is reputedly ’the friendliest port’ has a working harbour, marina, Sunday market, fish and chip shops and plenty of varied amenities. Alnwick, with its famous castle featured in Harry Potter and Downton Abbey, is only a few miles with cobbled streets and famous water gardens with a spectacular grand cascade, and the worlds largest tree house restaurant should not be missed. Warkworth is on the main Heritage coastal route which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and from here you can enjoy some glorious unspoilt beaches and rugged coastline.



The Studio is a handy base for your holiday and is ideal for reaching inland to the National Park, west to visit Hadrian’s Wall or north towards the borders.

On arrival at The Studio, we were welcomed by the owners, such a nice, friendly couple and their swe

On arrival at The Studio, we were welcomed by the owners, such a nice, friendly couple and their sweet little dog.We found a basket on the dining table with Prosecco and a little bag of chocolates and gravy bones for our dachshund - there was also milk in the fridge and a fresh fruit basket.Although compact the accommodation is cosy and comfortable with every comfort catered for and we found it to be immaculately clean and quiet with a very comfortable bed.Proximity to the lovely village of Warkworth is ideal - there is a short cut that the owners told us about, which takes only 10 minutes on foot which we took advantage of on several occasions.The Studio is ideally placed for visiting some of our favourite places such as Alnwick, Boulmer Beach, Alnmouth and Amble (the home of Spirellis, a must if you enjoy the most amazing ice creams!) We had a super week and would be more than happy to return to The Studio again in the future. 👍

Perfect retreat

Everything about this little studio suited us perfectly. It started with them accepting dogs, which was so much appreciated! The hosts kindly left a welcome pack of treats (for us and our pet!), and the studio was both clean and comfortable. We felt relaxed here, and enjoyed the fact that there was much to see and do in the area. We fully recommend this place and hope to return.

The cottage was great and the owners couldn't be more helpful , a bottle of prosecco and chocolates were waiting for us , you can walk into the village through the field's past the castle ,or along the river,or down the road , it's a nice walk into Amble along the river watching the salmon and sea trout jumping.The Northumberland coast is the best place in England to go for a holiday there is so much to see and the beaches are as good if not better than any you can find in the world, we will certainly return and book at the Neuk. The Studio was a great place to stay for 2 weeks. Made to feel very welcome by the owners they gave lots advice on places to visit during our stay. The Studio was a great location for visiting the many attractions in Northumberland. If we were to return to the area we would definitely stay in the Studio again.

This is a lovely studio cottage.

This is a lovely studio cottage. Very nice decor and fully equipped it is set within the owners beautiful garden. Warkworth is a lovely village and has several pubs and restaurants for you to enjoy and is a reasonable walk from the Studio. The owners are extremely friendly and make sure you are well Informed about the area so that your stay is enjoyable.Thoroughly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at The Studio. Hosts are very welcoming. We thought it was a great location being a short walk to the main street either via a scenic river path or across a field by the Castle. Warkworth itself is very friendly and has a number of quality eating places. It's a great base for exploring the beautiful and friendly Northumberland county. We found Warkworth and surrounding areas very dog friendly. The Studio is clean and compact with a sweet little garden area. Kitchen is basic but with the essentials. Thanks for a lovely week.

Linda and Jeff are wonderful hosts and the welcome bottle was a lovely gesture. The Studio was perfect for us and our little dog. It is very comfortable and well equipped. In fact for us it couldn't have been better. We have told our hosts that we shall be back with them, if we haven't ensured by our Review that there will be no available dates.
