Petrockstowe village is the home to this traditional, detached house, with fields leading to the Tarka Trail, beaches at Woolacombe and Sandymouth easily accessible.. Ground Floor:

Travel cot and highchair. Welcome pack. Large, enclosed garden with patio area, garden furniture and BBQ. 25-acre natural grounds. Private parking. Bike store. No smoking. Please note: Second steep staircase may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. There is a drop to the lower patio and a fenced pond in grounds, 20 yards away.. With parts dating from the 1350s this beautifully restored, detached holiday house can be found on the edge of the North Devon village of Petrockstowe. The charming exterior is matched by the well appointed, comfortable interior. Every effort has been made to retain the charm of a house of this age but also with modern conveniences required by discerning guests. There is a large landscaped garden with a pond and is ideal to either find a quiet corner or have a run around. In the village there is a charming pub and playground, both within walking distance of the house. The house is ideally suited to explore the charming North Devon coast and countryside, there are stunning beaches at Woolacombe and Sandymouth. Enjoy a day out at Hartland and visit the lighthouse, Hartland Quay and the historic fishing village at Clovelly. If gardens are of interest the R.H.S Gardens at Rosemoor are a delight and there are numerous National Trust properties in the surrounding area to enjoy. The towns of Great Torrington and Bideford lie close by with most amenities, as is Bideford’s quay where visitors can book a trip to Lundy Island. Slightly further afield is the Dartmoor National Park. Beach lovers will delight in the wide sandy beaches, the nearest being the Blue Flag beach at Westward Ho! The Milky Way and The Big Sheep will fascinate the younger ones. There are several local pubs nearby, with the nearest in the village serving real ale and home cooked food. Shop 2 miles, pub 500 yards.
