An excellent restaurant is within a short stroll and Maidens has a village shop. Pub 100 yards.

We had a lovely time at Learig and in Maidens.
We had a lovely time at Learig and in Maidens. Lovely cottage and garden plus great hosts who were happy to help plus give us space to do what we wanted. Lovely area to explore with Turnberry and beaches, then Culzean Castle and Park the other side, then Dunure Castle a little further up the coast. A quiet area with nice places to eat such as Wildings and Souters. We would certainly have no hesitation in going back when some of more of the sites open up, but ideal for a place to escape the chaos and of city life in these unsure times. Charming small cottage by the sea in a very quiet fishing village.
Charming small cottage by the sea in a very quiet fishing village. The peace and tranquility was just what I needed after four months of lockdown and working online. The cottage is very thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a short break. The owners, who live in the house next door are very friendly and helpful. Thank you for looking after my tyres!
