Cottage was just right for us and the dog. It was well-equipped, clean and very comfortable. The owner was very welcoming and informative about the local area. Excellent walking on the doorstep. Great welcome pack - especially the Barra Brith fruit loaf! Really enjoyed our break.(Note - pub in nearest village is currently closed for refurbishment).

Tucked away surrounded by beautiful countryside charming cottage. Everything you could need at the cottage. Don’t normally cook much when away but pubs and restaurants not open inside yet so glad we could had everything at hand. Very comfortable bed, after working through lockdown, needed the rest. Glorious sunset evenings sitting in the garden.

Cottage was spotless and well equipped.
Cottage was spotless and well equipped. Nice to see basic items provided and the welcome gifts are a really nice touch. We were made to feel very much at home by the owners and the location is ideal for dog owners. The coastal path passes just outside the cottage. Loved my morning walks along the estuary and you can walk to the beach in around 20-30 mins. Local supermarkets a few miles away by car, would have been nice if the local pub was still open but didn’t spoil our break. We had a relaxing break and would definitely recommend.

A very clean and well equipped cottage in a quiet location. The owner was welcoming and helpful, and the welcome gifts were much appreciated. We enjoyed the walk to the nearby beach, and overall the location was good for access to Snowdonia, Anglesey and the Llyn penninsula. Unfortunately the nearest pub in Llanwrog has now closed.

We felt comfortable as soon as we walked in..There was everything we needed and more than I expected. The owner made us very welcome and was pleasant and helpful without being intrusive. Although we went away during the peak season the cottage was quiet and peaceful, with walks from the door. I can honestly say it was the nicest cottage we have stayed in for the accommodation, surrounding area and views

Lovely, well appointed, cozy cottage.
Lovely, well appointed, cozy cottage. On our first day there was a gale blowing outside, but inside we were wonderfully warm and insulated. We brought our rather active dog and having the coast path right next to the cottage, which leads to a pleasant, dog friendly beach, was great for her. There are lots of places to visit in this beautiful part of Wales. Try taking the minor seaside road to Caernarfon, rather than the main roads. It takes you straight to the castle entrance with ample free parking by a sports field.
Thank you so much to the owners for a lovely welcome pack of Bara Brith and beer.
Ty Sam is the perfect place to unwind, highly recommended.

Fab cottage, every thing you need is there.
Fab cottage, every thing you need is there. It's far enough away from the busyness of life, but close enough to Caernarfon for all the restaurant, cafes and pub. It's about a 40 minute walk to the beach from the cottage, and a 12 minute drive to Caernarfon. Would definitely go back.

Fantastic little cottage! I stayed for a long weekend in July with my little dog and unusually she settled in immediately. The open plan was perfect for us and the garden has no gaps for missy to sneak out and it’s quite a sun trap.
There is a brick built bbq sadly I didn’t have enough time it to slam on a steak and already bought sufficient food.
The walk to the pebble beach (dogs allowed) was fantastic with egrets patrolling the marsh en route along with an amazing display of butterflies.
The location is perfect for trips Beddgelert and Llanberis but also you could get a quick helicopter flight from the small airport.
Finally, the hosts were fantastic and the eggs, welsh cakes, local cheese and a fine bottle of beer went down very well. Oh and the picnic basket with 2 blankets, jug, mugs and hot chocolate were taken advantage of to watch the sky at night

We had an enjoyable five night stay at the cottage, it is a lovely place. The owner was welcoming and helpful during our stay, there was a nice welcome gift left in the cottage for us. The garden was lovely to sit out in and had the sun in the evening. Our dog enjoyed her stay and liked the garden too. There are lots of places to walk and the cottage is right next to the coastal path so you can walk down to the beach. We all enjoyed our stay at Ty Sam
