The cottage was lovely and we could really relax.

The cottage was lovely and we could really relax. We were able to take advantage of the dark clear skies and lovely walks. Would definitely visit again, the area is beautiful

Great place in lovely surroundings. Very handy for Kielder - only a mile or so to the Lakeside Way route, which is great for bikes or walking.

Great for cycling and walking around Kielder Water. Village has limited amenities but we knew that when we booked and shopped in advance.

No2 Railway Cuttings was a very comfortable cottage with everything we needed for a 2 night break.

No2 Railway Cuttings was a very comfortable cottage with everything we needed for a 2 night break. Spotlessly clean and the underfloor heating backed up with an electric heater kept us warm even though it was the end of December. We used as a base to attend the Kielder Winter Wonderland and it was perfect for that being a short 10 - 15 minute drive. Would highly recommend to anyone attending or visiting the Observatory.

Lovely cottage in a very nice area.

Lovely cottage in a very nice area. The only thing that caused us an issue and it may have been our fault is that no matter what we tried we could not get the dish washer to work. That said the cottage was a pleasure to stay in and we would have no issues about returning to it
