Biggar’s Victorian Puppet Theatre and the town of Peebles are well worth a visit, and for more adventurous holidaymakers, there’s a mountain bike centre at Glentress just 15 miles away. A day trip to Scotland’s vibrant capital city is a must, and there’s also golf, fishing, some fantastic walking and cycling available locally. Shop 3¼ miles, pub and restaurant 3¾ miles.
