Four of us stayed for 10 days in January while visiting my brother who lives nearby.

Four of us stayed for 10 days in January while visiting my brother who lives nearby. Chalgrove proved to be the perfect choice. It was warm and cosy and equipped with virtually everything we needed. Set in a beautiful river valley, the cottage offers a view of Pen y Fan, the highest point in the Brecon Beacons, which was snow-capped when we arrived. A 15-minute drive took us to Brecon with its excellent shopping. We did need wi-fi but found that a portable hot-spot worked perfectly well. I would recommend Chalgrove to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a most beautiful part of Wales Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A simply Fantastic, roomy cottage! All facilities supplied and a nice welcoming basket on arrival!. Very warm and comfortable. We were very lucky that we could not find accommodation in the Brecon YHA - and so we came to Chalgrove! What a find! Thoroughly recommend the cottage. Lovely views of rolling hills.
