Wonderful countryside retreat close to 2 lovely cities

We live on acreage in Australia and loved the morning walks, though colder! The accommodation exceeded our expectations and we would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises in the future

8/10 Good

Lodge was spacious and suited our needs for a family Christmas.

Lodge was spacious and suited our needs for a family Christmas. The welcome pack was very much appreciated, although a bottle of milk would have been handy. The kitchen was not very clean, especially the hob and the fridge and we couldn’t find any place mats. All in all though in view of these few niggles we still had a lovely stay. My daughter loved the alpacas and the woodland walk. Thanks also to the owner for contacting us about something we left behind.

Our stay at this beautiful lodge was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The setting is incredibly peaceful. The lodge itself was spotless, beautifully furnished, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts added a really special touch by leaving thoughtful welcome treats for us, which made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The highlight, of course, was the wonderful alpacas! They were gentle, friendly, and such a joy to watch and interact with. They added something truly unique and unforgettable to our stay, bringing smiles every day.
