The property was perfect for our needs. It was very comfortable with a sofa and armchairs and a separate dining table. The kitchen had a full-sized refrigerator and cooker (electric oven and hob).The bathroom was well-equipped with fresh towels and the shower had good water pressure.The beds were very comfortable. There were only 2 of us and we used the front bedroom. There were fly screens at all the windows and I particularly liked the rope fly screen at the front door which allowed us to keep the door open in the evening when the sun had moved to the back of the property. The location was perfect for us as bird-watchers with a short walk down to the nearby visitor centre and bird hides overlooking the lagoon. There were several nearby hides that we could drive to and some nearby towns provided interest. While the village does not have a shop, a couple of vans visited during the week selling fruit and vegetables. Miguel and Mercedes were fabulous hosts - very thoughtful and attentive. They showed us several kindnesses during our stay - bringing us wine and cake and taking in our laundry from the line when we were out and rain was likely. Although we don’t speak much Spanish Google Translate helped us communicate with them. We look forward to returning in the future.

Fin de semana en Gallocanta.

Muy recomendable. Hemos estado un fin de semana en la Laguna y la Buhardilla con amigos , eramos muchos, pero hemos tenido servicio para todos. El propietario muy amable. Nos ha encantado el Bodegón para poder estar todos juntos. La zona bonita para hacer salidas y sobre todo nos ha gustado mucho Anento. Las lagunas estan sin agua pero continuan manteniendo su encanto. Volveremos.

un poco decepcionados

Hemos estado esta Semana Santa en Casa La Laguna y la verdad es que lo que podemos decir es que los dueños han sido encantadores y a la casa no es que le faltara nada en concreto. Pero sí nos quedamos un poco cortados porque en la descripción ponía jardín y mobiliario de jardín y la verdad es que de eso no había nada. Dice que las casas están separadas por un jardín y en realidad es un patio con suelo de piedra. Al ir con niños pequeños (2a) dábamos importancia a eso porque contábamos con que tendrían un espacio libre sin peligro pero era eso, un patio, no un jardín, no muy grande y rodeado de pequeños trozos de tierra con alguna planta. Y sin salida desde la casa. Había que entrar por el portón de al lado de la casa así que había que salir a la calle y por ahí mismo pasaban los coches, con lo cual era bastante incómodo con niños pequeños. También hay que decir que cuando llegamos no había nada y como los dueños vieron que queríamos estar fuera, sacaron una mesa y unas tumbonas. Y como dice la web, las vistas serán espectaculares desde la buhardilla porque la casa es prácticamente una cueva. Oscurísima y con ventanas muy muy pequeñas. Los puntos positivos nos han parecido la tranquilidad de la zona y la amabilidad de los dueños.

Muy acogedora y práctica

Nos hemos alojado en la casa La Laguna, es una casa fantástica, con las paredes de piedra vista y las vigas de madera. La distribución de la planta baja es muy práctica, separada en dos ambientes, zona de descanso y zona de comedor y cocina. La cocina completamente equipada con todo lo que puedas necesitar. En la planta de arriba hay tres dormitorios en los que hemos descansado a pierna suelta, todo tranquilidad. Bien acondicionada, no hemos pasado frio en ningún momento. A 1 minuto a pie hay un parque infantil para que los niños puedan jugar y cerca también está el bar "La Plaza".

Miguel Angel fue encantador.

Miguel Angel (propietario) fue encantador. Muy preocupado por todo. Eramos una familia de 11 personas con tres niñas pequeñas. Alquilamos las dos casas. Lo malo fue que las casas no estaban comunicadas entre si, y teniamos que salir a la calle para poder entrar a una o a otra. La cocina de la casa de la Buhardilla no era cómoda, teníamos que ir al salón a por la vajilla y cuberteria, no había ningún tipo de cajón en la cocina. La limpieza general de la casa podía mejorar también. Por lo demás todo bien.
