Secluded Seaview Greek House, Walking distance to Beaches. Perfect for Families
Velanidia is a village located in Laconia of Peloponnese, in the southernmost part of continental Greece. Its architecture and natural environment resemble Islands of the Aegean. There are narrow picturesque alleys with total absence of cars and remarkable trekking trails. Within short distances, one can visit the Byzantine castle-town of medieval Monemvasia, the magnificent Kastania Cave, the world famous Elafonisos (Simos beach) and much more. The environment is unique and fascinating. Safety, tranquillity and authenticity are what the visitor feels. On the way to Velanidia, you can see everywhere the hillside of Parnonas, and when the landscape begins and dances somewhat, you suddenly find the amphitheatrical village of Velanidia, an architectural complex that amazes. Opposite it has the open sea to admire the most beautiful sunrise and the majestic sunrise of the Moon. Everywhere herbs and smells and the mountains full of olives and loaves. The beaches for all tastes, wild and sandy with clear waters. The house has a Cycladic style with its gaze upon the Aegean Sea, offers BBQ facilities, free WiFi. Guests staying at this holiday home have access to a fully equipped kitchen and a terrace. The house includes 2 bedrooms, a living room, and a bathroom with a hair dryer and a shower. A flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a DVD player are featured. Guests can also relax in the garden. The house is set in a stunning landscape next to a beautiful beach, within a fun and welcoming village Velanidia. It is integrated into the unique natural environment of the area and respects the architecture that our ancestors, inhabitants of the village, have been following for many years. It is built on old vineyards of our ancestors and therefore maintains a vineyard in the old vine that gives little but special wine. Walking for 5 minutes going to the beach, dining, swimming and the village of Velanidia, where there are cafes, restaurants (in the summer are open until the end of August), Mini-Market, and it is needed a private car for the wider area and outside the settlement. There is parking next to the house. Monemvasia is 24 km from the place.

Gemma, you were all wonderful I look forward to seeing you next time.

About the host

During my active professional years, I traveled a lot for business and pleasure. I love communicating with people from all over the world, exchanging experiences and culture, especially culinary and environmental.
Why they chose this property
The Velanidia village is home to my ancestors, and its history from existing finds goes back to the old days. When I was a kid the village was my summer vacation, near my grandparents. This nostalgia and the impressive environment led me to build the house for vacation in an old vineyard of my ancestors. The environment, a mixture of sea and green nature with smells, travels you, calms you, far away from the noise and anxiety of the tourist towns. This beauty I want to share with you.
What makes this property unique
You enjoy, Safety, Authenticity, Comfort, beautiful views, quiet beaches for swimming, pristine natural environment.
