Great location but a bit disappointed in the property
The property was very convenient for our stay as it was in the town centre. The kitchen facilities were good and the beds were comfortable.
It felt a bit 'tired' in terms of décor (scuffed skirting boards, old paintwork etc) and we were a bit concerned about the very old electric points and switches (some of which did not work). In the living room, there were a number of appliances plugged into extension leads which were unsightly and trailing (and possibly dangerous)
Most annoying was that the lack of a shower facility in the bathroom despite the description saying that it had a shower attachment. The property was booked because both couples prefer showers to baths. Also, it referred to a 'terrace area' at the rear - frankly it was unusable for sitting out in.
A small but sweet house close to the beach and high street.
