This fantastic attic studio has been recently renovated while preserving the charm of the original building, including beautiful exposed wooden beams.
The studio is fully equipped to make your stay in Madrid unforgettable:

Please note: access to this area is via a staircase that is not suitable for children or people with reduced mobility.

Reina Sofía Iis on the 5th floor of a historic building with a typical Madrid-style corrala, now fitted with a new glass-walled elevator. In the past, these traditional communal courtyards were known for staging small theatre performances, a custom that has sadly declined. However, thanks to the Cristina Rota acting schoollocated on the ground floor, this tradition continues today. With some luck, you might be able to enjoy one of these performances during your stay.

From the airport (Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas):
Take Line 8towards Nuevos Ministerios, transfer to Line 6towards Lucero, then at Moncloa, transfer to Line 3towards El Casar.
Get off at Lavapiésstation and walk to the provided address.
From Atocha Station:
Take Line 1towards Pinar de Chamartín.
Get off at Soland transfer to Line 3towards El Casar.
Get off at Lavapiésand walk to the provided address.
From Chamartín Station:
Take Line 1towards Valdecarros.

GETTING AROUND
The nearest metro station is Lavapiés (Line 3), offering easy access to the rest of Madrid. Other nearby stations include Embajadores, Antón Martín, Atocha, and Atocha Renfe.
Atocha Renfeis Madrid’s main train station, receiving long-distance, high-speed AVE, and commuter trains. If you arrive in Madrid by train, you can easily walk to the apartment—it’s just a few minutes away.
If you're coming from the airport, aside from taking a taxi, Uber, or Cabify, a very affordable option is the Cercanías commuter train, which goes directly from the airport to Atocha Station, from where you can walk to the apartment if you don’t have too much luggage.
THE FINE PRINT
-Rental cots are available for €30 per stay. Please remember to request one by contacting the host prior to your arrival.
-Tenants must present a valid ID and a credit card at check-in.
-Parties and similar events are not permitted at this property.
-Access to the apartment requires a smartphone with an internet connection.
-The tenant will be required to sign a seasonal rental agreement. This contract respects the original conditions of the booking and must specify the duration of the stay, indicating that the purpose of the rental is not indefinite occupation of the property nor use as a permanent residence. It must also include the tenant’s habitual residence address (where they are officially registered) and state the reason for the rental.
-Please note that if your arrival is on the same day as your booking, we cannot guarantee that the apartment will be ready before 5:30 PM.
