" Lovely little cottage in a very quiet location with great access to local amenities. Lots of space and very homely with everything you need to hand. Kitted out well for children. It has an extensive garden which will be great in summer. Everyone I met was really friendly. It is a short walk to the beach across the golf course to the Ty Coch Inn at Morfa Nefyn which serves great food and drink. I look forward to staying again on future breaks." Clare, Cheshire. "We loved our stay at this cottage the beaches are amazing especially the one with the Ty Coch inn we had a lovely Sunny day there and it felt like we were abroad. They have a local chippy and garage which sells food. The beds were very comfy and it’s so nice and peaceful. My children loved it too we will be going again this year highly recommend for a nice quiet break." Belinda, Newcastle-u-Lyme, August 2025.

From cottage review

We had a very nice week at from cottage. It was a good base for exploring the local area. There were small shops near by for supply's and two local beeches. The cottage was very comfortable with lots of extras I didn't expect such as dog biscuits and small sample packs of jam, that you wouldn't normally get self catering. The garden was beautiful we enjoyed sitting outside. I would be happy to recommend the area and the cottage to friends.

Beautiful location

Cottage has everything you need and more , garden is wonderful so big and a summer house too. Needed to park up the lane a little instead of outside cottage but not a big deal if you want a quiet country lane location so no complaints and would visit again. 15 min walk to golf course which leads to the beach , absolutely stunning views so close by . Cottage in tiny villiage with local shop 2 mins walk , loads of walks from cottage and very short drives to other beaches and hillside locations . Overall - we loved it and so did our dogs. :)

Relaxing short break

What a gem of a property, showing its age a little, but really well kitted out for a short break in the countryside. The garden is marvellous. My top tip would be to visit the Cliffs in Morfa Nefyn for lunch or dinner.

About the host

We love Wales... the beaches, views, local language, history and peace and quiet! The Llyn Penninsula is a very special place. There are so many happy memories for us here! We holiday here all year round, swim in the sea in the summer and drink hot chocolate in the cold winds in winter. We have a young boy and a cockapoo dog so the cottage is well tested! We enjoy the local places to go and eat. There are so many things to do here. I look forward to speaking with you and hope you enjoy our home and the surrounding area as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

If you would like a quiet, comfortable cottage which is safe for children, dogs and walking distance to the beach... Come and stay with us. There's a huge garden, summer house, BBQ, open fire, and a super king bed and bunk bed for the kids. This is our second home, a well loved, well lived in property with everything you need. Our three year old boy and cockapoo have tested all the beaches and toys! Whether you want to walk the coastal path, play golf, have a beer on the local beach or do some water sports, this is the place to rent.

What makes this property unique

The Morfa Nefyn beach and famous Golf course is a short walk away. The village is peaceful but has a useful convenience store, butchers and pub. The huge, enclosed garden is a delight in the summer sun to enjoy late evenings with a glass of wine.
