We live in Alabama, but have always loved to vacation in the mountains. We own a portrait studio and love photography, so we enjoy riding through Cades Cove and the Roaring Fork Motor trail because there is usually an opportunity to photograph wildlife, the beautiful mountain views and waterfalls, and we even have some of our photography displayed in the cabin. We loved it so much we have decided to make Pigeon Forge our 2nd home and we would like to share it with you. The cabin is located just 1.5 miles from the Parkway in Pigeon Forge, yet it’s tucked away in a peaceful wooded log cabin community, giving you the feeling of being away from it all. The best part? You don’t have to navigate any steep or dangerous roads to reach it. Often, cabins with great views are accessed through winding, scary roads—especially in the winter. But since the best views are found along scenic drives or through the parks, wouldn't you prefer a cabin that’s close to all the attractions? If you're in the mood for a swim, the Pigeon Forge Community Center is just a couple of miles away and offers both an outdoor pool and an Olympic-sized indoor pool. The Community Center is an 86,000-square-foot recreation complex that includes basketball courts, a racquetball court, a wallyball court, a 10-lane bowling center, a 25-yard, 6-lane aquatic pool, a shallow baby pool, a childcare center, two aerobics rooms, a meeting room, a 1/10-mile walking track, and a wellness center. Its hours are Monday to Friday: 6 AM to 9 PM, Saturday: 8 AM to 6 PM, and Sunday: 1 PM to 6 PM. The cost is $8 per person, with children 4 and under free. There’s also a Publix grocery store within a mile, easily accessible without needing to go onto the busy Parkway, and you can also easily reach Wears Valley Road from this route.

One of the highlights of the cabin is its beautiful log interior and stunning ceilings with pine beams, which create a warm and cozy atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to relax by the fire with a good book. Enjoy a ballgame on the 50-inch flat-screen TV or unwind with a movie while lounging on the new, comfortable living room furniture. Each bedroom has its own TV, and for a bit of friendly competition, you can challenge someone to a match on our vintage foosball table. We take pride in preserving the past, and you'll notice several primitive and vintage touches throughout the cabin. We’ve provided books, games, and movies for your entertainment. A unique feature of this cabin is its accessibility, with the kitchen and master bedroom conveniently located on the main level. Whether you’re a young family looking for adventure or enjoying your golden years, this cabin is the perfect getaway.
