VILLA HANDRAS, unit 2, MANDORLO

in a large Mediterranean garden (9000 m2), 2 cycladic one storey houses recently built (2011), the main villa where live the owners, an Italian couple (Milan) with a child, and the guest house, divided into two apartments, each with a wide veranda and exclusive portion of garden. Each apartment has a living room with 2 sofa beds, kitchenette, bedroom and a bathroom with shower. The apartments are furnished with a tasteful simplicity and elegance, houses 'design' while respecting the Cycladic style, and equipped with all amenities for a relaxing and comfortable.
Each veranda is equipped with a simple kitchen, as well as table, chairs and 'chaises longues'.
It is a house 'ECO', the materials used and all the equipment has been realized thinking of protecting the beautiful natural environment that surrounds it. The dirty water is retrieved, processed and recycled by a sophisticated system, only to be re-used to water the plants and flowers.
In the basement of the house there is a room shared by the two apartments, where they can be housed luggage and any equipment.

The villa is just as shown in the pictures. The view from the terrace is gorgeous. It is spotlessly clean and the bed is very comfortable. We loved the close proximity to Tholaria and Lagada, two small villages connected by a path with good places to enjoy dinner or a coffee break. Marco was an excellent host, giving great restaurant and beach recommendations and even picking us up when we arrived. We highly recommend!

Tra i fiori, con vista, nel silenzio

Davvero bella questa maisonette di stile moderno e nitido. Bel soggiorno affacciato su un patio riparato dai venti e orientato verso il tramonto. Camera più che confortevole e bagno spazioso e fornito di eccellenti saponi naturali. La cucina è attrezzata e permette una totale autonomia. Marco e Tiziana sono due host simpatici e disponibili, è stato un piacere incontrarli. Se ci fosse anche il wi-fi sarebbe un vero sogno per un soggiorno di lavoro e meditazione.

Magnificent position, stunning view and quiet!

Marco and his wife Tizziana will ensure that you have everything you need in this compact villa with a fine terrace to enjoy the lovely view. In an elevated position just back from the small town of Aegiali Bay (a 20 min walk away or 2 min on a scooter!). Plenty of dining options in the town as well as Langada - Niko's Taverna highly recommended - and Tholaria on your doorstep. And don't miss Liotrivi's Taverna up in the Chora. Amorgos is a beautiful island with plenty of good walks and swimming, a wonderful contrast to some of the busier islands! My friends and I loved it.

Un lieu très agréable pour passer ses vacances

La vue, comme la maison, sont tout à fait à l'image des photographies mises en ligne et du descriptif : la panorama est somptueux, avec des couleurs qui ne cessent de changer tout au long de la journée. On peut passer ainsi des heures à admirer ciel et mer de la terrasse, sans jamais se lasser ! Quant à la maison, elle est aménagée avec beaucoup de goût, très bien entretenue et bien équipée. Enfin, les propriétaires sont d'une grande disponibilité et soucieux d'assurer à leurs hôtes une prestation de grande qualité.

Abbiamo ospitato questa famiglia di persone davvero educate, cordiali e ordinatissime. Direi che quando si decide di affittare la propria casa, è una fortuna incontrare persone così. Sappiamo che anche loro si sono trovati molto bene,e ci auguriamo che decidranno di ritornare. Ospiti perfetti.

a place of beauty

The place is very special and has a lot of beauty. It is nicely built and decorated, with a quiet surrounding, an incredible view, and has very kind owners. We were there with two childs (3 and 6) and seized it a lot. We recommend this place to everyone who looks for silence. The world needs a lot more places like this one.
