1 Bed Heritage Apartment Within Beachside Grade 2 Listed Country House
Bovisand Lodge is an historical Grade 2 listed Country House set in the Devon countryside yet enjoying a beach side location. The Lodge provides luxury holiday accommodation with 3 Heritage Apartments in the East wing of the house. Each apartment has its own separate entrance and terrace or patio area with BBQ and access to the Indoor heated pool and Sauna.
Bovisand Lodge is set in an unspoilt wooded valley that runs down from the hills of Staddon Heights, the grounds open onto a safe sandy beach with breathtaking views of the Cornish coast. The South West Coast Path runs along the bottom of the grounds allowing you to explore the stunning scenery. The charming country house/lodge was for many years the home to Joseph Whidbey, the Superintendent Engineer of the great Plymouth Breakwater, which can be seen from the Lodge. Despite it's peace and tranquillity the Lodge is only seven miles from Plymouth City Centre.

The apartment was amazing and above and beyond what we were expecting. The hosts were friendly and helpful and as we were on honeymoon had given us little personal touches. Everywhere was spotless and we loved the swimming pool

About the host
Hosted by Candice Hart
Our small holiday park has been in the family for over 60 years and is currently managed by third generation brother and sister team James and Candice (me!) - who you will see out and about on the Park. Our parents Rita and John are also still very much involved.
Having grown up here the family is hugely proud of the Park, and work hard to create a peaceful and idyllic environment for guests and caravan owners to enjoy.
We have 3 types of accommodations: Lodges, Apartments and Caravans.
Why they chose this property
The Park has been in the family for over 60 years and we enjoy the peaceful natural setting - we have the best of both worlds with the beauty of the surrounding fields and woodlands along with direct beach access and stunning coastal views/walks. We're a stones throw from the historic Barbican with it's climbable lighthouse, the hustle and bustle of Royal William Yard not forgetting the far reaching views from Dartmoor and it's famous Tors.
What makes this property unique
Nestled in a wooded valley yet beside the beach and SW coastal path, you can't beat the location! You can enjoy the sunsets over the Cornish coast and make use of our heated pool and sauna. Our spacious apartment is fully equipped to give you that home from home feeling. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and go to great lengths to ensure that our accommodations are to the highest standard. You will see new additions each time you stay, whether that's a fresh lick of paint, new sofa's, crockery, coffee machines or the hanging of pictures from local artists, we consider it all.
