Big Shack, Casas Karen (2-4 guests)

The houses built with straw, wooden poles, cane and ropes (straw huts) were typical of this region in the eighteenth century. We have preserved the traditional structure but remodeling it with more windows that allow light to enter and an interior for modern life .
La Choza Grande was designed with a gathering of friends or family in mind. It has a spacious living room - dining room with ecological natural lime flooring, rugs, antique sideboards and a large dining table. Beneath the mezzanine are two large sofas (which can be used as single beds), two armchairs, and the steep staircase leading to the loft where you sleep like a nest. Next to the dining room you will find the rustic kitchen, as well as a rare blue bathroom. There are multiple windows in this Shack, which means that light comes in throughout the day.
Built on 500m₂ of private natural garden grounds with a picnic table in the shade of a centennial wild olive, this is the most secluded property. Although terribly cool in the summer, some people need electric radiators in the winter, despite which many guests return year after year to enjoy this magical and unique place.
