Reasonable place in El Viso

After difficultly checking in since directions for entry past the front gate and door were not given we enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room, a well equipped kitchen as well as a clean, roomy bathroom and comfortable bed in the bedroom. We finally figured out the heating system but never got the television working. All things considered it was a good place to stay.

Ideal location and close to loads of amenities

Had a wonderful stay at Miguel's place. Since the beginning they were extremely accommodating! He allowed us to check in earlier and the place was all clean and perfect. There are a few things that may need to be looked at, such as the blinds, but apart from that everything was perfect. Right beside the Nuevos Ministerios metro station which is connected to the airport. Surrounded by lovely buildings and very quiet neighbourhood. Location is 100%. It was a joy staying here and would definitely recommend to a friend!

Nightmare

If you stay in this place take picture of everything when you check-in because he is going to try to claim damage when you check-out. Not honest, and a lier. We return the apartment more clean than he have ever had it. And now he claims for our money because we destroy a matrix than was too disgusting than we refus d to sleep in. We preferred to sleep in the floor ….

On November 22 I visited the flat to take the air out of the radiators, for it was getting cold in Madrid. Led in by the occupant and his wife, what I found was devastating: dirt and disorder all over, a terrible odour , and a damaged mattress was airing in the bedroom, with no sheets or covers, and the other mattress was thrown on the floor, covered with a nordic duvet without it's case or sheet... The general image was terrifying. The damaged mattress had an enormous blood stain right in the center that they were airing. Nobody would accept to sleep on that mattress after that. If the apt. smelled of being closed for their whole previous stay, 45 days, the bathroom smelled even worse. Asolutely terrible. So I reported it. VRBO staff told me to wait until their outing, and within 14 days, claim the safety deposit for that and any other possible damages. And that is exactly what I did. Up to that point there had been no issues and our relation was good, even as I got out of the unit. In their outing, although they carefully avoided a checkout meeting, their message was pleasant: " Thank you for your hospitality" they wrote. It is only when they learned I had filed an economic complaint that they started to fight, being very aggressive in their communications and evaluation. Very unpleasant, so I cannot really recommend Estefanía and her family as guests.

Disappointing—no wifi/internet even though advertised

A disappointing stay—said there was internet but in fact, there isn't internet. we reserved the apartment for a month as we were moving to Madrid and wanted a place to stay while looking for an apartment to rent. I was starting an MBA and my partner was working from home. Before making the reservation, I told the owner all this and he agreed to the reservation. However, upon arriving to the apartment, we realized that it did not have internet!!! (even though the listing on VRBO said it had wifi/internet). Pretty essential for a month’s stay, especially working from home and for starting an MBA!! The owner said it was a mistake he made listing the property. Very disappointing not to have wifi and that the owner didn’t mention it when confirming the reservation (who stays somewhere for a month without wifi?!).

Mallory and her boyfriend Chris are difficult, Conflictive and immature, not desirable as guests, that is my advice. As you can read in her comment, nothing about the apartment, but only about internet, which they had, they used and exhausted. They were informed that no streaming was included, accepted it, and nevertheless downloaded 8 films in 3 days (2 GB x 8 = 16 GB). So they consumed all their megabytes. Once explained what they knew from the moment they got in, that web access was for browsing and emails, not for gaming or series watching, they started complaining about any possible issue, making their stay a real hassle. Really unwanted guests.

Perfect staying

It is perfect for either a short or long stay. It has everything you need, from washer/dryer to french press . Miguel is very helpful in case you need to ask a question. Neighborhood really nice, close to Bernabeu Stadium. I highly recommend it.

Bel appartement, propriètaire exécrable et de mauvaise foi..... dommage !!

Nous avons loué cet appartement du 7 juin au 9 juillet. Avant notre arrivée, les échanges avec le propriétaire (Miguel) étaient bons. Mais il y a eu des messages de sa part qui m'ont étonnés. Il a demandé de ne pas trop utiliser, et aussi de ne pas trop utiliser le wifi et la climatisation. Voici ce qu'il a dit au sujet de la climatisation : " il y a de climatisation, bien sur, mais il est comprise jusqu'à un certaine dépense, après c'est à charge du locataire." Étonnant, étant donné que la température à cette époque de l'année à Madrid avoisine les 30-35°C, et surtout que l'appartement est situé au dernier étage. Nous lui avons aussi demandé si nous pouvions avoir un deuxième jeu de clé, il nous a indiqué que si nous perdions un jeu de clé cela couterait 50€. Nous étions d'accord. Le 28 avril (plus d'un mois avant notre arrivée), alors que le check in était normalement prévu à 17h, nous lui avons demandé si il était possible d'arriver plus tôt. Il a accepté. L'appartement devait être prêt. Quel fut notre grande surprise le jour de notre arrivée : l'appartement n'était pas du tout nettoyé et les linges pas prêts. Nous l’avons contacté, il nous a répondu que le check in était prévu à 17h... Il a demandé un dépôt de garantie d'un mois sinon, je le cite : " si vous le payez pas vous pouvez pas rester". Il nous annonce ça le jour de notre arrivée, alors que ce n'était pas indiqué dans la description de l'appartement, ni dans les conditions Abritel. Abritel a dû cette situation. Il a prétendu à Abritel qu'il avait fait une erreur... Il ne s'est jamais excusé auprès de nous pour cette prétendue erreur... Il a longuement hésité avant de nous donné le code de la boite sécurisé où se trouvait les clés. Nous avons dû lui redemander le deuxième jeu de clé. Mais là il nous a demandé un document signé comme quoi nous acceptions de payer 50€ en cas de perte alors que dans les messages nous étions d'accord. Nous avons trouvé ça suspect et loufoque, donc nous n'avons pas fait ce document, nous nous sommes contenter d'un seul jeu de clé... Nous n'avons plus communiqué le reste du séjour jusqu'à ce qu'il nous demande de faire un état des lieux de sortie pour le dernier jour. Puisque ce n'était pas dans les conditions et qu'il n'y a pas eu d'état des lieux d'entrée, nous avons refusé. Il nous a quand même demandé 400€ pour une persienne déjà cassée à notre arrivée. Nous avons refusé ! Même si l’appartement est bien, fuyez ce propriétaire de mauvaise foi !

On se retrouve des bons et des mauvais locataires. Parfois des très bons ou des très mauvaises, comme mr Sobhi: ils ont porté plainte depuis le début, meme s’on avait fait l’exception de les laisser entrer en avance, pendant le travail de la femme de ménage… Ils ont toujours protesté au lieu de remercier. Ils protestent aussi sur des questions qui sont très claires dans les conditions de la location, comme la perte des clés… Cela ils l’ont pas lu, mais ce qui ils bénéficient dans les conditions oui ? Drôle de locataire. Aussi les limites à la consommation comprise dans le bail. Cela ils n’ont pas lu dans les conditions ? Ils sont rédigés assez clairement… Le wifi c’est illimite, donc ce que monsieur dis est simplement une mensonge. Le dépôt de garantie était un erreur, bien expliqué au monsieur, lorsqu' on loue dans d' autres webs qui prennent la caution, désolé. Mais le pire, vraiment, c’est la fuite prématurée du monsieur, ne pas attendant le rdv qu’on avait pris, bien sure pour refuser de payer la persienne qu'ils avaient cassé, et que je ne suis pas ete capable de les faire payer… Vraiment quelqu'un sans éducation ou manières.

Decepción con algunos elementos de la casa (NO FUNCIONA WIFI)

A priori el anuncio tenía muy buenas perspectivas, necesitaba un alojamiento para mi durante casi un mes, ya que me acababa de mudar a Madrid. Un elemento fundamental en mi caso era que tuviera wifi, pues debía usarlo para revisar correo electrónico, hacer uso de google maps para ubicar sitios clave de la ciudad, buscar el piso definitivo a través de portales web habituales, además de puntualmente por trabajo. Pues bien, cual fue mi decepción al ver que no funcionaba, no podía acceder a ninguno de los aspectos anteriormente enunciados. Tras contactar con el propietario, adaptándome a sus horarios (una tarde estuve durante un margen de 3horas esperando a que acudiera), me dijo que en principio no había problema (al instante funcionaba, pero solo unos minutos), a los pocos minutos dejaba de funcionar. Tras esos primeros contactos, con mi posterior exposición de los hechos de nuevo al propietario (con pantallazos, vídeos explicativos por mi parte, etc), dejó de responder a mis mensajes, los ignoró. Otros aspectos a considerar: el ascensor (por si cargáis maletas) llega hasta el piso inferior, hay que subir las escaleras hasta el piso del anuncio. La cafetera nespresso no funciona. La cama tiene los muelles en mal estado, con ruido constante al movimiento. Me encontré dentro de la lavadora unas sábanas que no sabía si estaban limpias o sucias.

Bueno, no se que ha llevado a Judith a cambiar su evaluación un mes después de haber salido, añadiendo tantas cosas que no son verdad... El Internet funcionaba perfectamente, pero ella lo uso para streaming, para lo que no estaba habilitado. Le respondí infinidad de veces a sus continuas respuestas y además tengo varios correos de ella y WhatsApp diciéndome que todo estaba perfecto. No la entiendo, de verdad. Para quien quiera saber más, tengo toda larga serie de intercambios a disposición, sus palabras sobre el apartamento y el WiFi, diciendo que estaba perfecto y los pantallazo que le envié donde se veía el consumo de todas las películas y series que había visto. Sobre el estado y las condiciones del apartamento no dice nada, solo sobre Internet... Críticas injustas y malintencionadas como ésta solo podrán lograr que retiremos el apto. De la plataforma, con el consiguiente perjuicio, no sólo para nosotros, sino también para los viajeros.
