Private Lake Lodge for a Great Getaway
Nestled on the freshwater shores of Lake Michigan in the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan, the Stonington House offers a relaxing retreat for all ages: families, groups, friends, events and more. The lodge is located on 3300 feet of Big Bay de Noc's lakeshore where guests enjoy fishing, swimming, boating, kayaking and water pleasures. Further experience the four seasons bird watching, small game hunting, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, ice fishing and more. All 237 acres of private property are surrounded by the vast Hiawatha National Forest, yours to explore and enjoy!
The main house features a 16-foot stone fireplace in the great room, well-furnished, and regulation-size pool table, plus a full bath, expansive kitchen, dining table seating for 12+ and three bedrooms. The adjoining guest house connected by a 10-foot covered walkway provides additional living space, a gaming area including foosball, laundry, sauna, full bath and three bedrooms. Stonington House is a comfortable gathering place for all ages!
The main lodge is surrounded by a large deck on two sides and dock for added outdoor living. Relax and enjoy the beautiful sun and moon rises. Or be entertained by a game of volleyball or horseshoes on the yard, bird watch, relax in a lounge chair, roast treats & sing around the campfire, practice hoops, or take a hike. The possibilities are endless. No matter what the season or the reason, the Stonington house is the place to be - a great getaway for all!

Check-out instructions
The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and return the keys
Leave keys on the table and doors unlocked.
Start dishwasher and towels in washing machine (not sheets).
Turn air conditioner temperature to 72 degrees.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
