A beautiful property kitted out with everything needed for a stay with the family (barring washing machine). Serene location with lots of wildlife and a short walk to the beach. Loved Kangastay and can't wait to return!

We enjoyed staying at Kangastay very much. It felt comfortable and homely and was equipped with everything you could want in the way of cooking and entertainment (games, books, dvds etc). We liked the pictures and furnishings which were a pleasant change from the spare/modern look of much accomodation now. Ros's guide the island was also greatly appreciated.

The house was well presented and the pantry was well stocked with the basics. Extra quilts and blankets are provided which we made use of as the nights were very cold, the AC did an ok job of keeping the place warm.Towels are provided for showers but no hand towel in case that bothers anyone.The river and beach are both beautiful and within easy walking distance.All in all the property was everything we needed for our stay on Kangaroo island.

The house is in a beautiful quiet spot close to the river. There are two outdoor sitting areas, so you’re always sheltered from the wind. The home is cosy and has everything you need plus some thoughtful extras. The communication and access was easy and straight forward. We had a wonderful stay!

Great location, close to the river and beach. We managed to fit Seal Bay, Kelly Hill Caves, and Flinders Chase into one day. Plenty of wildlife around the Vivonne Bay, including wallabies and koalas.
