REVIEW -
This was our second stay at the Marcoola House and we spent 2 fabulous weeks at this fantastic pet friendly house. I just love it and the dogs didn’t want to leave. I hope to keep going back for many more holidays. Best pet friendly house I have ever stayed in and the location is second to none. Love this house!!!
I recently had the pleasure of spending a week at the Marcoola House and in my opinion, this is the best pet friendly accommodation on the coast … and I have tried quite a few! I applaud the owners for the thought and effort that has gone into making this house an absolute pleasure to stay in for us and our dogs. Fantastic outdoor areas, beautiful bathrooms, comfy beds and heaps of added extras – add a one minute walk to a dog friendly, patrolled beach and you have a destination you will not want to leave. I came home (reluctantly) and immediately booked my next holiday at Marcoola House. Absolute 10 out of 10. Regards, Jan Singleton and family

Great holiday house - close to patrolled and dog friendly beaches. Lovely solar heated pool and very easy for our family of five and two small dogs to share.
This is a lovely little home, in a great location. It’s a renovated property, with an excellent secure yard for dogs. The pool was great, and we were able to just walk across to the beach and surf club. Communication was easy.
Great place thats perfectly positioned to all you Need for your stay. Plenty of area for ya hounds to roam around on the lawn. Great outdoor area, where most time spent at house. Stone throw from Beach, surfclub and Cafe's. Will be back again. Cheers
A lovely location, everything is local , just a short distance to everything that you need only walk to places. The house itself is quite nice, it had everything we needed and I most certainly will be looking to going back there for a longer period of time. Very fortunate to have found this place.

Wonderful to hear. Thank you Susan so much for taking the time to leave a lovely review. Sorry about the tea towels being missed. We hope to have you stay again soon. Cheers, Alison
For what we paid, we were disappointed to find that the inside of the property was rather tired, dark and small. There were other issues that we made the owner aware of.
Great location. Outdoor area and pool were awesome. Let downs were ants/spiders along most architraves - we had to spray these ourselves. Scotia was in poor condition and falling away in entry. Kitchen was tiny (small apartment size) and layout of it was poor. Poor internet which seemed to be shared with property next door.
The property was alright- the house was dusty and didn’t seems like cleaners went through it. The pool was great, and so is the location which is very close to the beach. The sliding door is in very bad shape and extremely difficult and noisy to open. Overall a good experience.
Absolutely loved the house and area. Hounds enjoyed it too. Very secure for the dogs and was happy that the dogs can be inside. Just down the rod at Coolum there is a great off leash area on beach for the hounds. Humans also enjoyed the holiday in a quiet part of the coast.
Good place to have holiday. Suited us very well as our daughter's wedding was just down the road at Surf Air where we couldn't have our furbaby. Close to the beach and cafes and other places to eat. The pool looks more inviting and bigger in the photos. Was too cold for us to use it while we were there
The property was in a perfect location. The beach just a short walk away. It was a beautiful beach that was well patrolled. The property overall was good. Smaller than I expected, fortunately two of my guests couldn’t come. It would have been quite cramped if they had.
It was not as clean as I would have liked.
Great place to stay in a great location. Our kids loved having the pool each day to swim in and even better it had solar heating. There was only one slight hiccup and that was fixed asap with a very quick response from Alison. Would happily stay there again!
We rented the house as overseas guests for an 11 night duration, to accommodate our daughter and her 3 dogs.
The location was perfect for us, as, close to beach for dog walks with a great coffee shop within walking distance, surf club and Italian pizza (Weds-Sat). Street food market (Fri) and food market every Saturday
