Watersmeet is part of Land for Wildlife, a nation-wide conservation program that supports the maintenance and enhancement of native flora and fauna. Our guests have spotted wild goannas, wallabies, echidna, countless bird species and even koalas!

Hello! We lived overseas for many years in New York, London, Tokyo and Singapore, but always longed to return home to Queensland for its natural beauty and space. We now live on the Sunshine Coast with our three children and have family nearby. Watersmeet has been with us for nearly twenty years and we want to share with others the simple living, sense of space and raw natural beauty.

Why they chose this property

Watersmeet is such a special property with its magical views and incredible diversity, from eucalypt and rainforest groves, valleys and hills, pastures and dams, not to mention the wildlife. Great cafes and shops are only 15 minutes away in Maleny.

What makes this property unique

Watersmeet offers exceptional privacy amid 150 acres for your family and friends, and makes you feel truly surrounded by nature. You can wake up to see the early morning fog in the valley below, and then when it clears, be astounded by just how beautiful nature can be. You can walk the trails if you want, or just stay in the house and read, play board games and drink wine. It is a casual, family-friendly space with no pretense, and you feel rejuvenated.
