I joined the Canadian Armed Forces Reserves when I was a teenager and my career has afforded me the opportunity to travel. As much as I've traveled I've always been grateful to get home. I'm a proud Canadian, but Newfoundland comes first in my heart. Along my travels I often meet people who say that they've always wanted to come visit Newfoundland so when I bought this home I envisioned providing an incredible comfortable home for people to explore my home province but also get a taste of what our culture, history and people are all about. I look forward to meeting all The Fry House guests and hope we can add to your wonderful experience in Newfoundland!

Why they chose this property

The Fry House was built in 1897 and stayed in the Fry family until 2014. The family kept the house up and lovingly kept many features of the house intact including fire places, flooring, wainscotting, beautiful rock walls. and many other features. I had been searching for an older home on the Avalon Peninsula for some time and when I stepped into this home, my heart skipped a beat. It was everything I was looking for an more! The previous owner had restored this home with attention to detail, love, care and impeccable taste. I'll be forever grateful to her.

What makes this property unique

Brigus is known for it's beauty and peacefulness. It's location is central to all that the Avalon peninsula has to offer. If you like to hike, golf, fish, or enjoy any other outdoor sport, this house is ideal for you.
